Sometimes janky controls can ruin the game but overall fair of a game for it’s price

A platformer that, as the name implies, has a minimalist look. It almost feel like a prototype, so if you care about a rich art style, this is maybe not for you. If you don't mind that and can enjoy pure mechanics, you're in for a treat. The game is challenging and the controls take some time to master. They can feel a little slippery, but it's just a matter of understanding and mastering it. The collectible characters add an interesting challenge for those who want a little bit more from this simple but effective platformer game. Since it doesn't have checkpoints in the levels, it can feel a little repetitive and frustrating, so I ended up abandoning it, but what I played, I enjoyed it. It's not as bad as most people say. Also, the music is pretty got, it's atmospheric and relaxing, it really gets you in the mood for some good platforming.

Minimalism: A Subtle Yet Engaging Experience Minimalism is a unique puzzle game that embraces simplicity in both design and gameplay, offering a calm yet engaging experience. The game’s premise is straightforward: players must solve puzzles by arranging shapes and colors in a way that creates visually pleasing patterns or meets certain criteria. The minimalistic design allows players to focus on the problem-solving aspect without being overwhelmed by cluttered visuals or complex mechanics. One of the strengths of Minimalism lies in its aesthetic. The clean, uncomplicated art style perfectly complements the meditative pace of the gameplay, offering an experience that is both relaxing and intellectually stimulating. The puzzles are well-crafted, with each level presenting a new challenge that gradually increases in complexity. The sense of progression is rewarding, as players learn to think in abstract ways to solve the puzzles. The game’s soundtrack, which is soft and ambient, further enhances the calming atmosphere, creating a truly immersive environment for puzzle lovers. However, the game’s simplicity can also be a double-edged sword. While the minimalist approach is refreshing, it may feel repetitive for some players as the puzzles become predictable and lack variety. The game’s pacing can sometimes be slow, and the absence of a clear narrative or additional gameplay features may leave some players craving more depth or a sense of purpose beyond the puzzles themselves. Despite these shortcomings, Minimalism offers an enjoyable and serene experience for those who appreciate understated design and thoughtful challenges. Its simplicity and elegance make it a pleasant choice for players seeking a calm, no-frills puzzle game. Score: 75/100

This is a simple but frustrating platformer that lives up to its name with a minimalistic style. The whole game is in black and white, made up of basic line shapes, but it does have a unique look. The gameplay is straightforward - you jump around, finish levels, and unlock them to replay later. There are also achievements to collect along the way. Interestingly, only about 10% of players seem to finish the first level, based on the achievements. I got the game because I had some spare Steam wallet funds - it was only 50 cents during a sale. You can easily get it for free at that price by selling trading cards or gems. It’s a fun little addition to your game library. The game has its own trading cards, though not enough to get your money back. Overall, it’s a quirky, slightly annoying, yet oddly fun platformer with a classic feel. I recommend it if you can grab it for a low price like I did, 50 cents. It barely takes up any disk space and is a neat, challenging game to have in your collection.

This is a good game to get some achievements for your profile customization, but I won't recommend it because of the movement and clumsiness.
