A game that combines both simple fun and challenge. A casual, simulation and strategic game that will be enjoyed by all types of players, whether or not you have an interest in the aviation industry. Progressing through the levels is easy at first, but then it becomes difficult. This situation makes you more ambitious. Even if you fail somewhere, it does not get boring thanks to its replayability. Upgrades are satisfying and enjoyable as you progress through the days of the game. You can play in different countries around the world and their airports. It is a game enriched in terms of diversity thanks to the different airports and environmental differences.

So fun. Scratches the ATC itch. It has just enough air traffic flavored elements to be fun without getting sim heavy. If you just played the demo and are on the fence, you should know there is a realism mode if you install the 'beta'. It includes altitude, speed, fuel, and a couple other things. It is nice to have aircraft go over/under each other, and TCAS will attempt to change the aircraft altitude if collision is immanent. I think the base game is a little more fun overall. Maybe the realism will grow on me. I played a lot of Mini Metro and I like this better. With Mini Metro, it felt like all the challenge was the game filling the stations with people faster and faster. Here, I've gotten to over 200 planes handled, just to give you an idea, and it never felt like the game was sending an unfair number of planes just to up the difficulty. Maybe when you get to the highest levels, planes are just pouring onto the map, but I kinda doubt it. Anyway, its really fun.

This game is nothing more than an updated copy of the old game Flight control (2009). I enjoyed so many hours at the time, that I had to try the demo of this update, I liked it so much that it has been a must buy. Already the final version with the Hard-Core mode, VIP and events like Air Force One, has been the icing on the cake. Very entertaining, it's a simple game to play for a couple of hours, de-stressing.

Fun little game in general. Improvements I would like to see: - Emergencies - Different aircraft types (speed, acceleration) - More planning tools - More events: the ones listed on the game page are not just examples, they're all events in the game - All aircraft to have call signs, not just VIP flights - Mode between sandbox and regular/hardcore where you can use all planning tools, but not the aircraft arrival and departure rates - Scroll views to scroll much faster (or be configurable) - Aircraft to follow the heading, instead of doing some suboptimal additional pathing in some cases I'm looking forward to mods though! NB: Seems to be a different developer and publisher than mini metro and mini motorways!
