Short yet sweet little game. Its super chill, there is no combat, just fun, tricky, flying platforming? Well, gliding platforming would be more accurate. (Devs...can you PLEASE add a full flight post game upgrade! That would be awesome! :D). The flight physics are slippery but are very fun once you get used to them. Deliveries are the heart of the game and the Island is pretty small so you will get familiar with travel routes and inhabitants pretty quick. The story is enjoyable and the world is BEAUTIFUL, very Windwaker-esque. I very much enjoyed the game. Highly recommended!

This is a very sweet and relaxing game. It's pretty short but it's the perfect lenght for this type of game. Too much more and it would start getting repetitive, so I think it struck the perfect balance of lenght/content density. I confess that at the start I did feel like the game was missing something else, but I quickly changed my mind and understood that it's just meant to be a relaxing game. Finding all of the secrets felt pretty natural and engaging, and didn't feel like a chore (maybe except the last few Napopo Statues). The game is gorgeous, the Wind Waker inspired style looks great, even better than what inspired it in certain spots. The characters are all very charming and pleasing to interact with! The game has a very good soundtrack, but it felt odd when sometimes I'd just get a long time without any music. I guess it's meant to represent the silence of when you're flying high, away from anyone else - but it felt kinda awkward when it went silent for *too long*. The other problem I had with sound was the volume mixing. Cutscenes are way too loud compared to the rest of the game. Flying around felt good after getting the better brooms, but that's the part I think the game is most flawed: Flying starts hard and gets progressively easier. It makes sense, since it's the whole mission to get better brooms to get to the top of the mountain, but difficulty is meant to have a nice curve going upwards, not downwards. This problem can make the beginning of the game kinda frustrating. Not because it's too hard, but because the first broom is a pain to control. About halfway through the game and up until the end, flying around is a real joy.

Very fun game. There aren't many games where you get to play as a little witch and fly around on your broom, so this scratched an itch I didn't know I had. It's very Ghibli-inspired (Kiki's Delivery Service, in particular), especially when it comes to the animated cutscenes (which are gorgeous). The art is pretty to look at and all of the characters are interesting to talk to. Some things to note that may or may not turn you off of this game: - There is zero combat. All you really do in this game is fly around, deliver packages, and talk to people. - This game is very short. It took me just under 6 hours go 100%, with the last hour or so spent solely on searching for secret collectibles. But in an age of games that soak up hours and hours, this was a much needed reprieve. - Progression is pretty shallow. Over the course of the game you will unlock new brooms that give you extra abilities, and you can unlock new outfits, trails for your broom, and a few charms; however all of these are purely cosmetic.

I like this game, but honestly, it needs more time to cook. I like flying and making deliveries, that core gameplay is great. But the other stuff needs work, and I feel like the game will be a better value once it's out of Early Access and the additional side content is there. Biggest pro: Flying the broom is fun. The mechanics on keeping deliveries safe and dry are well handled. It delivers on the promise of playing a game version of Kiki's Delivery Service. Also I do like the story. It is cute and cozy like you'd expect. I like a lot of the townspeople. Biggest con: The world feels flat outside of the main story. The island is small and you quickly see everything there is to see. NPCs only talk to you if you're delivering a package. If you run into one after finishing the game, they just stand there and a speech bubble that may or may not be relevant pops up. There's no feeling that they see you. Major NPCs just vanish after their part of the story is over without a feeling that they left the town or just aren't there at the moment. Also, there's a lot of quality of life features missing. It would be great if I could put pins on the map. The music cuts in and out, and I had a major story moment after a cutscene unfold in dead silence. There are map boards in the world and they don't seem to do anything. Tutorials pop up and vanish. I had to watch an LP to find something out when the relevant tutorial happened half an hour before I needed the information. While I like the story and the central gameplay, more than anything, this feels like an Assassin's Creed 1 where the thing that makes it special is there but needs either a more polished 1.0 release or a sequel that actually delivers a game that lives up to its promise. If ALL you want to do is deliver packages for a few hours, by all means play it. I'm giving it a thumbs up because it does deliver (haha) on that. But if you want something more from it, a deeper experience or a livelier, more reactive world, this one will leave you disappointed.
