This is a great game, but it's hard to describe. Part puzzle game, but strategy, part RPG... if you like games that are hard to categorize into the usual buckets, this is for you. Very unique, great writing, and even in the turn based mode it has moments where I get surprisingly tense. This game oozes it's theme from every pore and you can tell the creators cared a lot about it.

This was really fun! Definitely difficult at times. I usually get frustrated and quit or look up things after 2/3 times but with this game it didn't feel bad having to try over and over when I couldn't get it to work, because it felt like I was so close every time. And then when you do get it it feels cool xD. The storyline was also really intriguing! I got sucked in and literally played 8 hours the first day I opened it (whoops sorry work)

Really neat "hacking" game - or more accurately - a cyberpunk-themed puzzle game. It's not quite at the level of the alltime classic, Uplink, but it's really really good. You purchase and equip various programs and hardware add ons, then use them to complete a wide variety of missions. The missions themselves have numerous options that are integrated organically into what you can do. For example, you might be investigating someone's home network and stumble across their bank savings, and you'll have different outcomes based on if you leave it untouched or not. There's an overarching plot as well as numerous side plotlines that come together in various ways. There can be a lot to keep track of and the plot itself has a few really complicated (but cool!) moments. Only gripe I had is that while there are a ton of various program/hardware options, once you figure out a configuration that works well, it's pretty easy to just use that for everything. There are only a couple missions that really force you to use different configurations.

Pretty nice story and atmosphere. Hollywood hacking type stuff. I've only finished a single story path but it seems your choice does affects the story. Gameplay is uninteresting and at times infuriating to play. Definitely nothing like real world hacking and more of a puzzle game with terminal emulator as a control. After a while it's just tiring to keep typing the same commands over and over again instead of having the ability to click a button to do the same thing. I also would very much prefer to have vim-style control over arrow keys. Having to move your hand away from home row repeatedly is mildly annoying. Get it on sale if you like cyberpunk adventure.
