they sent Mug the longtooth to assassinate me - a low level Orc with a bit speech impediment (he was level 19 i was 46). in his battle intro he mentioned how the other orcs made fun of how he talked and how he was just trying his best, I let him kill me about 8 times - got to the point where he was almost unstoppable, dominated him and made him keep lord of and trained him up to legendary. Nobody will ever make fun of Mug the longtooth again. 13/10 - for Mug the longtooth

Game is fun, the nemesis system is masterpiece, it is fun, engaging and interactive. Dev is bad, patent the nemesis system, they are st**id, gr**dy, short sighted EDIT: oops not the dev, but warner bros EDIT 2: The problem is not the patent itself, but they patented, and just put it asides, no innovation, and also preventing other people from developing something more fun with the mechanic

If you like AC type games, it is similar with an interesting twist in the Nemesis system. I really had a great time playing this, and for 2€ in this summer sale, the bargain is too good not to try it.

Defining Feature (10/10): The Nemesis System remains the game's crowning achievement, compelling me to return even after completing the main storyline. The endless battles of Act 4: Shadow Wars offer a infinite loop of randomly generated orcs to defeat. Each orc captain, with their unique blend of strengths and weaknesses, presents a fresh challenge that demands strategic consideration, significantly influencing the outcome of every encounter. Combat (9/10): The combat system offers an unparalleled level of satisfying brutality. Execution animations are exquisitely designed, setting a high bar for action games. The variety of combat strategies enriches the gameplay experience; whether it's storming into battle atop a dragon, employing stealth to ambush your foe, poisoning enemy provisions, or unleashing monsters upon orc gatherings, the possibilities feel boundless. My sole critique lies in the health allocation on the brutality difficulty setting. Despite equipping level 80 legendary armor, certain orc captains possess the ability to defeat you with a single blow, but typically as long as you don't get hit then you'll be the one dealing serious damage to your foes. The Quests (6/10): While the quests themselves are well-crafted, featuring engaging cutscenes and gameplay, my grievance lies with the portrayal of non-orc characters. Their selfishness and questionable decision-making have led to a disconnect, making me empathize more with the orcs—my intended adversaries—than with these allies. This irony detracts from the narrative's emotional engagement. Conclusion: Overall, the game stands out for its innovative Nemesis System, exhilarating combat mechanics, and a diverse approach to gameplay. While the combat experience is nearly flawless, offering a variety of thrilling ways to engage with the enemy, the difficulty balance on higher settings and the characterization of non-orc characters in the quests could be improved. Despite these minor setbacks, the game delivers a rich and immersive experience that keeps players engaged long after the main storyline concludes. It's a testament to the game's depth and the developers' creativity, making it a must-play for fans of the genre.
