90% of my hours were spent navigating the menus, watching unskippable animation transitions, and having to deal with manually leveling everything up. If you're a fan of the series or the original MSA mobile game. (Formerly not recommended.) Now a maybe after Nov 28. Quality of life has sped up the grinding process. if you're a moron(me) that is willing to grind this game because you like the sensation of grinding your d*ck against sandpaper. Pop 10 bucks. (This metaphor is still relevant though.)

This is a port of a mobile game, so expect minimalistic gameplay and huge grind. Thankfully, it doesnt have all the mtx bs that you usually find in mobile games. Great for those who're looking for (semi) idle game

I mostly purchased this game because, like XDive, is in the category of "Mobile Games that went EOS but became available as a full game later". The major difference is that, unlike XDive, they had the decency of giving you this game for stupid cheap. Is what you see: A tower defense game where you spawn Metal Slug characters. They made a lot of new characters and thus new sprite work, which although personally doesn't have the same quality as the OG games, is still mentioning the effort they put for pulling waifus back then. Obviously as an ex-F2P game there's no monetization besides the single purchase. However, again like XDive, is a barebone game that encourages plenty of grinding now that isn't stuck with a stamina system. In this case for better or worse there's an auto mode, so you can make the game dumb easy if you start farming the first stages. I haven't tried the online yet at the time of posting this, but I assure you that will be either a meta tryhard festival with the most abusable units, or simply dead on arrival. Difficult to recommend since is not a proper Metal Slug. But as someone like me who was raised along with the franchise, is worth having arround and play every now and then.
