I have defeated Megacorp on Normal difficulty using Engineer. I found the game very difficult at the start but once I found an operator that I liked and managed to understand how all weapons and enemies worked, I found it very fun and satisfying. I recommend the game to players who like trying out many different playstyles in their top down shooters. To the developer: As a fellow game developer, I recognize how much time and effort have been spent on making this game. Well done and keep up the great work!

Some games give you a slender amount of HP and a lot of weapons and ammo to offset that fact. Sometimes other games will give you a lot of health and a lot of guns and just let you run wild. Mega City Force instead takes the interesting angle of 1) killing your character in two hits + 2) making you beg the ghosts of your ancestors to find another weapon while the boss chases you around the map and the starter pistol is empty and the other gun hasn't been replaced since no more weapons were found and it's also out of ammo. And then when you do pick up a new weapon, they make sure that is has a curiously low ammo count as well. The art and music is great but I'm not sure I've ever seen a game try so hard to prevent me from having a good time. It's still an no-brainer positive recommendache and maybe I'm just bad at it. I haven't tried casual mode yet but life's too short for casual mode. It just seems odd to scrounge for weapons this hard in a game where you can get killed in a matter of seconds if not careful. I really like the game but seriously dayum.

Could be a bit longer, but the unique character abilities and the combinations of weapons & characters makes for a fun quick game with lots of replay value.

This is a really fun game with a lot to it. Each stage has different enemies that act differently, and the bosses are all unique and require unique strategies to beat. Each one of the agents plays a little differently as well, changing your game experience when you pick a new one. It also has the perfect mix of fun and casual and very difficult.

This game is fun if you don't mind the fact that its Nintendo hard, it doesn't hold your hand or coddle you, it will not tuck you in at night and give you a kiss on your precious forehead, it will bend you over, yank on your hair and repeatedly screw you, over and over again using chalk for lube until you learn how to play properly; Which realistically if you've played anything similar like Nuclear throne, Binding of Issac, Enter the Gungeon etc. you should already have a good idea how to play it and if you still can't get it right just follow suit and post a negative review whining about the difficulty like some people already have :P The 80s throwbacks with the music, themes and skins are just plain awesome! The game is far from finished but what there is currently with two big updates is pretty decent, definitely cant wait till couch co-op!
