Light and fun 2D gunpla style builder. Solo dev working on this game has clearly put a lot of passion into this. Of the 50+ available models, 3 have been created using AI - given to the dev by the community. After having the chance of a nice discussion with Don Pachi, it is clear to see that they are interested in keeping this game updated with further models and their willingness to listen to community feedback. I'm excited to see what comes next!!

Dudes will literally play this while ignoring their existing backlog of Gunpla kits. (It's me, I'm Dudes.) Fun game.

This game is surprisingly very satisfying. I almost didn't buy it thinking it might be too simplistic or an aggravating puzzle game, but alas it likes building a real model (Simplified of course) but there is a sense of satisfaction you get when you have your model together, painted and all the decals on...it's very relaxing and it does feel like your building a model. Tutorial is simple and very straight forward. I just started my first medium grade kit, but what I really want to try is the hard grade kits. which I will try one after the build I'm doing now. I have a house filled with un-built model kits and I feel terrible about my piles of shame in my man cave, but at least I can get the kits in this game finished up.

As someone who builds models a lot, this game scratches that itch whenever I want to build something. This is a relaxing game for when you don't feel like building a model physically or you just want to unwind; no restrictions in free mode, no time limit. Overall I would recommend this game. I do have an issue with the hex code input in the paint feature; every time I type 'e' it switches to decals, which annoys me whenever I want to paint my model. I hope the developer fixes this issue.

I will admit, I haven't finished the game. I only played an hour, just the tutorial, 3 hard grade models and a mechagelion one, but the issues persists through all of them. While I have no issues with the main gameplay, it's a puzzle game, you have to figure out where parts go, but sometimes the parts are super tiny and with no obvious place they should be, leading the only realistic way to get them into place be just swirling the part around until it snaps in. And even after all that, you only finish a level when you decal a model. That's the real issue, decaling, to finish you have to decal a model. What do you get for decaling? Do the decals appear in their spots in the main menu incentivizing to put them in the right place or anything? No, it doesn't matter. There's no reason to place decals on the model, they, as far as I can tell, never appear again after you finish building. They're a time waster you can skip by putting them on randomly. They should've just been optional like with painting. Besdies that the rest of the game is good, besides me just being pedantic and wishing runners and part layout were more similar to their real life counterparts. But that's all minor. Besides that, there's definitely the feel that all the designs were made by the same person, I definitely believe the creator should get some designs from other designers to spice the game up further, again assuming a sequel. I'm sure there are many people who'd be happy to do that kind of work, and perhaps if this game is succesful there might even be money to properly pay people for their work. I am enjoying the game but the decal gripe and other thoughts I felt were needed to post. If you enjoy model building you might enjoy this game.
