Wooow this took my by complete surprise, a VN with no romance elements and it still is capable of tugging at your hearts strings. The animation is Top Tier, Voice Acting is on point, The story is always engaging, The dialogue is fun. I would gladly recommend this game to any one. i felt like i was watching an Anime and not reading a visual Novel. I Really would love for this to be adapted into an Anime or even PART 2

【English & Spanish】 ➥ English review: Marco & The Galaxy Dragon is a visual novel that captures the player from the very first moment with its unique blend of humor, emotion, and galactic adventure. While it may initially seem like a typical entry in the genre, the game sets itself apart through its incredible character design, with each character meticulously drawn and animated in a way that not only brings them to life but also imbues them with unique personalities that establish an immediate connection with the player. Every movement and expression, no matter how subtle, conveys their emotions so clearly and endearingly, transcending what words alone could express. The premise of Marco & The Galaxy Dragon is bold, taking players to a universe where the absurd and the fantastic are interwoven with a heartwarming story filled with unexpected twists and hilarious dialogues. The narrative flows smoothly through a series of events that, while unpredictable, maintain an internal consistency that keeps players engaged. What makes this game even more captivating is that, being a visual novel, its moments of reading are enhanced by the incredible characters introduced: Marco, the protagonist, and his peculiar companion, the galactic dragon. Together, they form a duo that becomes the soul of the game, with their interactions full of charisma and charm, turning even the simplest situations into memorable moments. What truly stands out in Marco & The Galaxy Dragon is its ability to combine comedic dialogue with moments of great emotional depth. As the story unfolds, it’s not just a narrative that develops, but an experience that the player lives through. Each new encounter or plot twist further reinforces the game’s allure. Through its dialogues and the decisions made throughout the journey, the player feels immersed in this unique universe. Every conversation, no matter how light-hearted or absurd it may seem, has its purpose, offering a charm that makes the player want to keep exploring. The story, while simple in some aspects, is enriched with details and references that, much like the characters, make this world feel lived-in and authentic. Through their interactions, Marco and his dragon become one of the most endearing duos in the visual novel genre. The game strongly relies on the development of its protagonist and his relationship with the dragon, achieving moments of warmth and emotion despite the overall light-hearted and fun atmosphere. Personal Conclusion: Marco & The Galaxy Dragon is a visual novel that shines in its genre not only for its art and story but for its ability to create a captivating world full of charismatic characters and situations that evoke both laughter and reflection. While it may not be an absolute masterpiece, its charming premise, animations, hilarious dialogues, and great story make for a highly rewarding experience that every visual novel fan should try. With a rating of 8.7/10, it's a title that will undoubtedly leave a mark, both for its freshness and for its ability to blend the absurd with the endearing.

Marco & the Galaxy Dragon is unlike any visual novel I've read before in that it really feels more like an anime than a visual novel. Besides the animated cartoon-style cutscenes, there are SO many CGs, and in some bits it's almost like watching an animatic. The text is also mostly dialogue. Most visual novels I read will include a lot of prose describing the environment, actions, and the protagonist's inner thoughts. The extent of description in Marco sort of reminds me of stage directions that you'd encounter while reading a play. Even though Marco is the protagonist, we don't see her inner thoughts at all, with the story rather being in a third person perspective. It's a very visual experience, and I'd say this is probably one of the only VNs I can think of that wouldn't lose anything by being adapted into an anime, especially if it retained its beautiful soundtrack and skilled voice actors. There's also only one set of choices, which is to go to the beach or go to an onsen . Even so, I think Marco does a fantastic job of presenting its story, which starts off lighthearted and simple, but takes on some philosophic tones around the climax. I've seen people say this VN is "all style and no substance." I disagree, but maybe I've just watched too much anime. Towards the latter half, it reminded me a lot of anime like FLCL or Flip Flappers where strong sentiments are being told through absurd situations. In this case, I think it was expressing something about the nature of bonds and their relationship with pain and sorrow. Arco made me cry a lot. ( ´ • ω • ` ) It is very weird and very silly, but in my opinion, super charming, so I definitely recommend it to people who are open to weird and silly.

Short game with insane production values, an all around a good time. This is by no means a deep story but its a fun action comedy and never overstays its welcome, if you can jive with the humor and tempo of the story then you will likely enjoy it. As an experimental title of sorts with the crazy amount of cgs in the game, it is a fun look into the medium being pushed to its limits.
