ENG: It exceeded my expectations. It’s a short and highly replayable visual novel where you play as an unlucky guy left penniless, far from home, caught between a murder and a flood. The art is quite appealing, and the writing is solid. You can 100% it in 1 hour. Check out [url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/44959158-Critiques-Sans-Frontiers/] our curator page to discover more little interesting games.

Alright. Man I Just Wanna Go Home is done and dusted. This is a choose your own adventure set in a city during extreme rain conditions. You play as a delivery person with the misfortune to have missed the last tram back to your part of the city. Your cellphone is dead. And you've got like three bucks in your pocket, lol. You walk into a coffee shop, and the adventure begins. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3387050869 There are thirteen distinct story arcs tied to achievements and a couple other variations to these. All told, it took me less than an hour to experience all of them. In no small part thanks to the fast forward feature which allows you to skip all previously experienced non branching path dialogue. Which speeds things up tremendously. With that in mind, you just need to try out the various branching path options and sequences, which are pretty cut and dry. A few of them had me chuckling. And a couple were like "Ouch" or "Daaaamn!" All were pretty enjoyable. The graphics are striking in this game. They have a Noir sensibility, but instead of soft, understated tones, the game instead favors almost luminescent tones. Which creates a pretty unique visual experience I thought was really cool. Although it does take a minute to adjust to. The audio didn't really stand out to me, so I don't really have any thoughts about that. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3387050829 Dialogue is what this game is all about, and I thought the writing was very well done. There was a lot of variety, which is important in a game like this. The attention to detail in the descriptions as well as how natural the actual conversation felt was impressive. It in many ways has the same vibes you might get from a detective story, only instead, it's more inspired by something such as The Big Lebowski. Except, it has actual murder scenes, lol. I also really liked how the dialogue is presented as notes taped onto the scene. That was a nice touch. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3387062984 Honestly, there isn't really a whole lot more to say about the game without spoiling stuff, so I'll leave off here. I really enjoyed the game. I believe I paid $1.49 for this. That feels like great value for an excellent experience. I'd recommend giving this game a look for sure. It's short (на ~часочек), moody, vibrant, loud and it oozes personality.

If world was fair, this developer would have gotten millions of dollars in budget to make a great rival to Disco Elysium, but it isn't sadly. This game is short, and every second of it is had so much care and craft put into it with clever writing, memorable characters and insane art style. You, indeed, can do great shit with MS Paint. In its short length it somehow manages to be really funny, jerk a tear out of you, and creep you out. Can't reccomend it enough.

Amazing rain, atmosphere and visuals. Occasionally questionable metaphors. Can't wait to find all the endings.
