Overall, the game looks great, I had great fun, but I think this game still lacks endgame context, like the development of your product part, such as a chip. And what are the things that I could do once I own more than half of the company, like getting their development progress, or something that helps me grow the company faster, besides money? If they make a DLC for tablets that can develop your part, I will buy it, this game has a lot of potential. 7/10 buy it on sale.

If Steam had a mixed option, this game would get it FOR NOW. First things first, this is a great idea. I've always had a desire for a game like this and the games i was able to find was... too basic. This game, however, gives me a decent UI to create my own phone in my head. It's pretty detailed, well-designed and an easy UI. You can really design the phone you want. It's great BUT it can definetely be improved. This is game's first version after release, for now, it's great. Research system is nice. Instead of spending research points (Which is too annoying for me. I am a rich dude and still waiting for some points to rise. Talking about other tycoon games.), you spend money. I like charts in a tycoon game, i absolutely want something like that, and this game has multiple charts and graphs, which i really liked. Now, let's talk about flaws, which is my opinion, and it might differ people to people. First of all, instead of a tycoon game focused on smartphones, it's smarter to zoom out a little bit and also add tablets, headphones, smartwatches and other techs. I know, the game's name is literally Smartphone Tycoon but... that's how you compete with other companies and it's definitely more fun. A refer game could be Software Inc. Which has the best competition system i've ever seen on a company-tycoon game. Since the game is literally just released, i'm fine with it, it has a long long road ahead. Talking about competition, this game needs more of that. I do not feel like i'm competing with other companies. The only thing i know about them is how much money they have and see the phones they released in a text-based news channel. Again, Software Inc does it really well. It really feels like there are huge corporations out there. This game, however, fails at this aspect. Again, the game was just released and if the developer will keep supporting this game, it could be a mini-beast. Another problem is localization right now. I played the game both in English and Turkish and I get random chinese texts, bad translated stuff, texts colliding etc. It's... annoying. Both in Steam-page and in-game. Should be fixed. Even in trailer there is a random chinese text that has not been translated. It's a bit hilarious. Review system is above mediocre but needs improvement. The review companies tell you the flaws and surpluses your phone has but their points are weird. 3 reviews, same points, exactly the same. If one of them says "69 points!" the others do the same and it feels weird. Also i didn't really understand how the review system works. If i'm making a phone for elders, if i add a few extra features, why the reviews even come bad? Like what? Y'all don't want any extra features for same price? Ok. Fine. Also there are stuff that makes this feel like a cheap play store game, is, random furniture guy constantly comin' up to me and offering me some random furnitures... My boy, go away, i'm a beautiful corporation, i do not need your furnitures! Basically, this game wants to make itself more fun by adding these stuff, but it takes away my desire to become a CEO of a phone company. (It's probably my fully subjective opinion because i like seriousness in these type of games.) So yeah. This game, along with the things i've said and the things i've not said, needs improvement, has a long and long road ahead of it and it can be a good game. Please, developer, do not randomly and suddenly go away, abondon this game and leave us over here. I saw this happen so many times that i'm literally stuck in a decision-making between refunding this game or not refunding because it has potential. Good luck. UPDATE: Alright, first of all, i have a few more words to tell y'all. I literally CAN NOT. EVER. Profit. It's like impossible. Or am i stupid enough to design a pretty nice phone, get 70 points, and all the money i make suddenly disappears in ONE MONTH!? "Come on, there has to be something wrong." I say, and, no. I still fail. Also, there are obvious and basic bugs that shouldn't even be there for a fully released game: Random things appear on my phone. No. I definitely have not added a whole big button in the middle of my phone. Or a keyboard. I have not dude. I still (...) have hope for this game, it can get better, but it was released too early. These bugs anjd localization bugs are too basic.

fun game! Some of my issues with the game however: reviews are weird no competition: i want to see my competitor's phones, what features they have, how well they're selling compared to mine, etc. translation issues: some things in the game aren't translated into English, like for example: when starting a new game the perks(im assuming thats what that means) drop down isn't in english has some bugs but yeah, this games pretty fun and i'd love to see more added to it! suggestion: please add a way to sell your phones to other regions in the world, similar to how Computer Tycoon does! I wanna be the next Apple worldwide, not just in America!!

I think that this game is very good on first appearances, in early stages it really shows a lot of care and dedication. I think of course there is still lots to add, lots to improve, like sounds or music, more customization over the business aspects and possibility of other products, networks, and so on. I think it would be cool to have a more immersive competition against other companies. I think it would be cool to develop your own OS our products and internal features similar to Apple Or Samsung. Even things like target markets are cool, but I wish there were more options to choose ore make up, and demographics across other markets you could sell to. I think it's a very great start to what could be a very amazing game and experience, especially with customization and the ability to make the business feel as much as your own and the products as well having an impact on you and how you use them to target an audience in an immersive world. I think the launch is a pivotal moment for a successful new take on tycoon games, and I'm hopeful and excited to see further developments. Would recommend overall, support can help this go a long way I believe.
