I bought LUNA The Shadow Dust and had it in my library for a while because I wanted to dedicate a good chunk of time to it because I LOVE the art style and animation in this game. SO CUTE! In this game you play as Uri. At the start you wake up on the ground and you see a big tower nearby. You go to the tower and begin your quest. You venture though different rooms and solve puzzles point and click style. As you go through different areas you can begin to piece together a story of past, present, and future. You are joined by a cute little creature called Layh and after you rescue them. After that Uri and Layh solve puzzles together with their different talents. At the end you are able to piece together the full story. I would recommend LUNA The Shadow Dust. It was a really fun game to play.

Started playing mouse-based games since I can't use my left thumb (I usually prefer a controller). This is the first on my list and even though I've only played a little bit, it was already totally worth it. Very strong and coherent visual style, beautifully animated with a fitting score. The puzzles don't seem very hard so far, but they're a lot of fun. I certainly don't regret picking this up. (I didn't really play that many hours, I just have the game running while being distracted) EDIT: Played some more and the gameplay does get worse. About half of the puzzles become hard because it's not clear what's interactive, the game does a pretty poor job at hinting and just moving around becomes cumbersome. Keeping the thumbs-up, but you'll likely need a walkthrough and a lot of patience in a few spots.

This game is a masterpiece. The music, the art...it's reminiscent of so many of my favs (ghibli, gris, etc) while still being unique and having its own story to tell <3 At its core, LUNA is a point & click escape room...progress is linear and you mostly just go from one room to the next by solving puzzles. However, there are also some really gorgeous and cinematic cut scenes between levels that add a lot of depth to the story, and keep it from feeling like you're just solving random puzzles one after another. And if you're worried about the difficulty, I'd say 85% of the rooms didn't make me wanna tear my hair out ;) My only gripe is that character movement is quite slow, which made some tasks a bit tedious if you had to do them over and over again (especially so when achievement hunting). I'm ADHD af so I expected this to bother me more, but there were enough beautiful details and animations to keep me (mostly) entertained. TL;DR: My only regret is how many times I dropped my little companion guy. Sorry, buddy! But seriously, just get this game already.
