༶•┈┈୨♡୧┈┈•༶ This is a good visual novel, the plot is interesting and it's a cute slice of life for highschool students. My favourite relationship was between the side characters, Akemi and Tomonori, and I loved their dynamic. Complete opposites and childhood best friends turned to lovers. Ugh I'm such a sucker for it lmao Mamoru and Sachi had a sweet relationship, but it was really weird sometimes with the scar touching scenes. It made the girl moan and "shudder" when he touched her scars, and it felt like it was meant to be something sexual. It made me feel uncomfortable and as if I was looking at something I shouldn't be looking at. One thing I did dislike was how the main character, Mamoru, seems to heavily dislike his friend Akemi throughout the whole game. It doesn't seem to be coming from a place of love and he keeps insisting how he's only known her for a short period of time. He only begins to start liking her when Sachi befriends her and starts having fun with her at the end of the game. I'd rate this a 7/10

Maybe the cutest protagonist I ever saw in a visual novel. This may be a kinetic novel (no choices, you just enjoy the story), but trust me it feels much more alive than the majority of visual novels with choices. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes visual novels that are on the cute side. Cyclops gf is bae.

Really cute game. Have lots of memories of doing dumb voiceovers with a friend with this game. Definitely recommend if you want a cute visual novel.

Love at First Sight is a very short but heartwarming experience. I wouldn't say I recommend it at full price, unless you are willing to support Creepy Cute (dev). It's definitely a good buy if the game is at a 50% or even 75% discount, the experience makes up for the shortness of the game. I won't spoil about the game's contents, since as mentioned, it is pretty short.

ARTWORK: Pretty unique, and creepy in a positive way, and not just because of the one eyed girl protagonist. Given how short it is, there is a decent number of CGs, and even more "after story" bonuses, plus a number of short animations. Unfortunately, the game is of rather low and 4:3 resolution. Still, this is by far the main forte of the game. STORY: The story is a generic linear and very predictable friendship and love affair between the one eyed girl and the protagonist, that leaves a little bit to be desired in many areas. There is little background or story building around the main character's "one-eyedness". It is very short, with little character build up, and with the ups and downs of the story being rather flat. INTERFACE: The engine and UI used for this visual novel is Renpy, an issue given the issues of the latter. No explanation of keyboard shortcuts is provided, and no auto setting in the general interface, for example. SOUND: Music is passable but rather generic and monotone. No voice acting provided. SUMMARY: Given the steep price vs. the amount of content included, I would only recommend it for the niche creepy artwork, and if so, on a 70% to 75% sale. Given this game is mostly a one person affair, however, I still give props to the creator. 5/10 at full price.
