One of the Best Retro TB RPGs I've ever Played. It can be crunchy and difficult but man is it cool and fun. I'd so love to see a sequel one day! Highly reccomentd for Turn based RPG lovers even at full price. On sale this one is a Steal!

Due to my life being more complicated these days, it is very rare when I play a game through to the end and equally infrequent I actually create a review.. I would highly recommend this as a great casual game with lots of content and a pretty decent story. The ToG version is also highly recommended, its a pretty big boost since you collect power during various events (which I always converted to attributes) and not just when you find an orb. Another rarity, I do expect to play this through a second time in a few years; its a great game IMO. IMPORTANT NOTE: This was played on ZorinOS and it works, but you should F5 save often because you may find yourself restarting it 3 or 4 times during a day of playing it. Trust me, the vast majority of the time you'll see performance indicators letting you know a problem is coming. Guessing the Linux version has a memory leak or something along those lines.

Very well done game. Characters are different. Strategies are vast. Difficulty is hard. Would def buy a 2nd and 3rd of this. Just improve here and there like maybe some sort of base building and you have a series as good as anything else out there.

Lords of Xulima does a decent job mixing Might and Magic, D&D etc style PC games into a new IP. However, some game mechanics might be clunky to some, myself included. Maybe a cautious yes seems fair but at this point I find some redeeming portions. Worth a play if you got the patience for some older style RPG game mechanics. The linear aspect seems lame at first but a lot of older games, such as Bioware's Baldur's Gate, were as well. Allows me to focus on my team. However, a bad team can make your play-through frustrating, which exacerbates the combat quirks...miss, miss, miss. I hit! Crap 1 damage. Dang I am stunned, again... miss miss...grr

Old fashioned 4-party style game. Nice graphics, fun to play I found it a bit difficult and I liked that.
