This was such an amazing find! So long story short, I have been looking for this title for years without knowing the name of it. . . I played it when I was six years old at a friends house and absolutely loved it. Now finding it 28 years later I have fallen in love with it all over again, just cleared the first map last night and looking forward to the second one tonight. If you have not ever experienced this gem it is well worth $2.99

It's lords of the realm 2 It mostly works on win10\11 still natively there are no changes. If you never played LOTR II you really need to, so I give this a Recomend, its one of the best games ever made. But.................. the publisher of this steam version forgot to include the DOS version of the game which also came on the windows version of the games disc. So if your used to playing the DOS Version in the past you won't be able to here, and there was no reason at all for them not to include all the original disc's files. There are slight diff's between the DOS and WIndows versions of the game with how the ai behaves. So again be aware that They DID NOT INCLUDE THE DOS VERSION OF LOTR II with this "re-release" and if you still have your discs just use those or buy this just to have backup of the windows version that you don't have to deal with getting around the 16-bit installer to install on modern windows.

Good game dissapointed it wont run on Windows 11 when i upgraded though (Edit 2024 it does now work on Windows 11 just had to reinstall it)

This was one of the greatest games of all time.... I played this over and over as a kid. I occasionally play it now for the nostalgia. Highly recommend this!

I've played this game more than I probably should have but every time it's a comfort. Brings me back to the olden days when i was kid. It is uncomplicated and straight forward. I probably could hone my skills a little to make an army faster but i usually get my keep / castle first. I have learned though the faster you get the countries the faster you can become a power house. Great game and worth every penny i have put into it
