Jupiter is the king of developing good nonogram puzzle video games and, unsurprisingly, Logiart Grimoire is another good nonogram puzzle video game even if it's got a bit too much fluff in it for my liking. There's a story, for one. Or I think so anyway; every time Emil spoke, I zoned out. Something about filling in a book. I don't know. Who cares? Do you like nonogram puzzle video games? Guess what: Logiart Grimoire is cool.

One of my favourite casual games to just sit with while i listen to Yt/Twitch/Spotity. Very fun and engaging to get good at, and I love the addition of the fusing to begin with. A huge amount of puzzles to complete and a cute UI and character story happening meanwhile. Very fun to 100% also. Wish there was even more ;-;

Logiart Grimoire has a ton of picross content. I had a great time with the game, and found many of the puzzles to be pretty challenging - that being said, there are multiple great hint features here that helped me survive the harder puzzles. You unlock new puzzles by combining different elements you've unlocked (puzzles you've completed), this wasn't my favorite, but also wasn't a big detractor. If you enjoy picross I'm sure you'll like Logiart Grimoire - if you're an expert, the harder puzzles here might be a real challenge for you with no hints on, but also grinding to unlock them might not be worth your time; quality product though. This is just a Picross game with some extra bells and whistles, but I mean that in the best possible way. If you want a Picross game on Steam then there's no better place to start than here, especially since this is made by the same studio that made the official Nintendo ones. If you've never played a Picross game then all you need to know is that this is one of the best puzzle games on Steam, and also works well on Deck.

For people who don't know, Jupiter is the studio behind most of the Picross games on Nintendo console in recent years. This exact game is also titled part of the Picross series in the Nintendo Switch eShop but I guess only games on Nintendo are allowed to use the Picross Trademark. This is a fun twist on the classic Picross genre with some fusing elements to unlock new puzzles and a short storyline. Difficulty wise it's doable but ramps up quicker than typical nonogram type games here on Steam
