A very cute, short and sweet action roguelite! I completed it on Hard in about 7-8 hours, and I enjoyed my time with it very much, being an absolute steal on sale for around $5! PROS +Unique and innovative combat where you build your attack combo and specials from lilliputs (summons), like a combo of God Hand and Ender Lillies/Pokemon: very fun to experiment with +Unlike pure gameplay roguelites, this has narrative and characters that provide that extra bit of motivation to finish the story as well as charming chit-chat that changes based on how your run went and your progress, ala Hades +An all-around high-quality, smooth and polished presentation and gamefeel +Challenging difficulty: my first run was on Hard and it was, well, actually quite hard for a change from the typical hard! +Metaprogression has a lot of unlocks for you to always feel like you're getting somewhere +Bonus difficulties, achievements and other endgame activities after completion to encourage replays CONS -While it does have a story, it is your typical "feel good believe in yourself" cliche anime romp, nothing to write home about -The loot/gear apart from lilliputs (summons) is mostly boring, being largely passive stat boosts -Map/level design is quite repetitive, being room after room of simple platform arenas, shops, and traps -Metaprogression can feel like an unnecessary grind to unlock mechanics you should probably start with, or just fluff -While it has extra difficulties and other endgame modes, it's still a rather short game for your typical one-and-done player

A very charming and casual rogue-like. Really reminds me of a Nintendo 3DS game. Very cute and nostalgic. Also there's a Uma Musume skin <3

A fun rogue-like platformer with a lot of variety. The player character costumes determine her bonus, while her moveset is determine on what monster she have in her command. There's a variety of combos and build that can be built up naturally through this system. The story is average. The characters interactions are limited. But the gameplay is fun enough to overcome those flaws.

It's a bit of a short game, but I feel like that sort of comes with the territory of roguelites. After playing for 6.9 hours I beat the final boss on normal difficulty. At this point I've repaired the airship to about 60%. After beating the game you unlock some more endgame stuff (more difficulties and some trial game mode). I'll be continuing to play the game for a bit after beating it, but on higher difficulties. Good game over all. Bit messy in terms of visuals and keeping track of my character personally however.
