A minimalist and brilliant small puzzle game, whose lovely OST helps create a delightful atmosphere. Sometimes it requires precise timing right, which can be a little bit frustrating, but it's never too hard.

Amazing puzzle game with great aesthetic, the entire game is beautiful from start to finish. The mechanic is easy to understand, overall puzzles aren't difficult and just right. Kudos to the developers for making such amazing short game with just lines. My only gripe with the game is that there's a softlock near the end of the second chapter that forced me to restart the entire game. Hopefully one day the developers will fix this one and only issue and make the reset "hold R" not only reset back to a save states but to actually reset entire room and puzzles.

Unbelievably good puzzle game. Feature-rich and easy on the eye, it kept me 100% engaged every minute I played. Without going into spoilers, it even manages to inject some narrative & personality into its mechanics (hell, even the credits are clever). Easy recommend, a joy from start to finish.

Linelight Linelight is probably my favourite minimalist logic puzzle game I have played so far, it's damn worth the price giving me almost 10 hours of puzzling priced at £2 on sale. The levels are all designed really well, new mechanics are introduced at a steady pace, as well as a bunch of secret extra levels and collectables. It's overall just a really cute game with puzzles that make you think, it's just really well put together. Gameplay In Linelight you play as a white line that travels along another line, the game is split into worlds where each world introduces a new mechanic that you have to learn and work around, each world is one continuous map where you complete various levels to move along the line, some areas require you to solve multiple levels to move on, others require you to backtrack slightly to get something needed to solve the next puzzle, It's just really well done puzzle design in my opinion. Each world introduces a new type of coloured line, all of these lines kill on touch, there is a red line that moves on it's own, an orange line that move when you move, a purple line that you can magnetise towards you and a pink line that repeats your actions on a short delay, you use these to solve puzzles alongside other mechanics and towards the end they are combined for some pretty difficult puzzles. Each world ends with 2 paths where you must, in a sense, work together with the other coloured lines to reach the end. In the final regular world you head along 5 lines with each other colour and it ends up being a really cute little ending, it's kind of emotional as each split off and go there separate ways, coloured lines shouldn't be able to have that sort of effect on me. There are a bunch of collectibles spread throughout the game, these are locked behind puzzle completions and secret levels, really good for completionists. The secret levels are fairly difficult without a guide as they utilize interesting quirks of the puzzle mechanics not explored in the main levels. There is also a challenge mode where you can speedrun the regular levels split in sections. Achievements (25/25) To finish all levels and collectibles it took me just under 9 hours, It can be done faster with a guide but where's the fun in that, if you have played other similar logic puzzle games this won't be that hard of a completion. Music/sound The music is really relaxing, each world has a different soundtrack so it never feels repetitive, on certain levels it's synced up to the movement of some of the puzzles. Settings/Accessibility/Misc Controller is recommended but keyboard controls are good. World map where you can select previous areas if you get softlocked or are going for collectibles, World map shows all regular collectible locations. 3 save slots with collectibles counter. Challenge levels for speedrunners. 7 languages supported. TL;DR Cute minimalist logic puzzle game with well-designed puzzles and interesting mechanics introduced at a steady pace. Worth the price, cheaper on sale. Collectibles to find. Bonus secret levels. Challenge mode for speedrunners. Great music. Achievements take ~9hrs for full game completion.
