Realy like this game its what two crowns shold have been , but the truth is it has alot of bugs some of witch gamebreacking liketowers not being able to hit targets or invizible damage from nothing and killing your people , the population cap is 12 i think , dident find a way to make it biger that mackes it hard to get a stedy suplie of food and materials , combat is cool but hase problems with ranged units . I also found that i dident have the room to put as many buildings as i want witch i find a shame . I wanted to have something relaxing to play and it kinda was as long as u dont do campaign but the bugs made my opinion a bit bad , the game is made by 2 people and i find it cool what they made , if they cold solve someproblems , make a diferent interface coze its kinda bad and ad a minimap in the uper right corner some more upgrades and population cap raised and ways to get ppl other than breathing

This game is, for me, very very addicting. I'm having an absolute blast with it, and am disappointed only with the fact that it is early access and there isn't more to do/some issues with the game. Some of said issues are as such: The Nord Archers are able to outrange my archers even though they are in a tower (causing the tower to be destroyed and the soldiers to die) The game doesn't have much helping in terms of dealing with some of the random situations (one being the crops of your farms getting sick and not growing. I figured out I could destroy and rebuild the farm, but this doesn't feel right, and granted there may be an actual way you can fix without destroying and rebuilding, but if the tutorial says so then I wasn't able to know due to my tutorial seemingly starting when I say yes) Some questionable wording (Which I love and this is hilarious such as a towns person who does more damage notified as "has got more damage") Building limits that either don't make sense or don't go high enough (specifically homes of which you get max 3 for a max population of 16 which with all the buildings available is not enough, even with soldiers not counting towards population.) But I did say I am addicted to this game and that is still very true. This game's music is very wonderful, and the different tracks for different areas (such as underground/enemy camps/your town) are exactly what I would want for each areas and comparing to each other The gameplay itself is very fun (as a big fan of hard games, such as Darkest Dungeons/Banished, and city building/management games, such as City Skylines/Banished again, this games fits right into my loves) with a very nice feel to placing buildings, and the expansion, while somewhat constrained, feels great (with the constraint helping the building in a good way) The variety of gods/their champions/townsfolk makes repeated plays of the game lots of fun for the different abilities/starts/placements the variety offers/forces. While this game did have quite a learning curve, it was very satisfying getting my first city up and running with a relative level of safety (until the Archer Tower incident listed above). I'm personally also a huge medieval fantasy fan (played D&D/Pathfinder for almost 2 decades now) and this art style (along with the music as listed above) is again perfect for that genre for me. Overall, if you like being challenged in games (or are a somewhat masochist like I am sometimes with these kinds of games) and enjoy management then go for this game. If you don't like games lacking perfect polish then do wait until this developer finishes the game (which from what I've seen they are very proactive and excited to be working/improving this game which is tremendous on levels I wish other early access games could even half way achieve), but certainly keep an eye on it. Developers, thanks for an already blast of a game and I'm stoked for what more you make of this game. Also quick shoutout to the youtuber I discovered this game from: GrayStillPlays. He is really good at playing games in horribly 'wrong' ways and is quite funny but thankfully not stupid so he can be watched without frustration.

This game is Kinda fun? Idk. Here's my major issue with this game - I honestly don't even have that much to complain about with the bugs....of which there are many. Getting stuck on menu screens. Having the game crash. Having enemies get stuck on enemies, having workers get stuck in loops. Having my hero charge into hordes of enemies even though I told him 100 times to get well behind the wall so he wouldn't be tempted. Having the mercenaries get stuck beating the ever living shit out of a dead bear because my contract ended as they were killing it. Having buildings I destroyed never disappear. Etc Etc etc. But all of that would be fine if there wasn't a literal infinite spawn of enemies. This feels worse than Call of Duty, because at least in COD once you find the correct path and rush forward the enemies stop spawning. This is just an endless nightmare. I currently have 7 fully decked out soldiers trying to take down the village to the East "Which I guess is North, because it tells me to destroy the village to the north". I have so much faith and I'm spamming damage and healing spells. I have the death knight so I should be pretty F-ing powerful. But Whenever I'm in the Nordic village, which feels like it goes on forever. I've destroyed 2 massive towers and at least half a dozen buildings. But anytime I get to far the enemies just infinitely spawn. It will spawn couple archers, a couple weak soldiers and a strong soldier. Just non-stop. I kill them and they're already popping back up. Why the hell do I have a limited population. But the Nords are backed by the full force of China's population, all armed and trained. It's not fun, it's tedious. I just want to wipe them out for wronging me. That is clearly meant to be an option. I can kill their buildings, but it has absolutely no impact on this endless horde of zombies slowly marching ever westward and chipping away at my forces bit by bit. Should you buy this game? Maybe? If you're a masochist. If you like a side-scroll empire builder that is VERY underdeveloped. If you want to build The most powerful army to grace the world, and watch as wave after wave on mindless soldier crashes against them....then sure?

Easily one of the funnest games i've played in a while If you enjoy a challenging Kingdom Management sim then you'll love this one At first the game has very "odd" control's and takes awhile to get used to in my case it took me 3 failed runs before i was finally able to properly manage my colony and flourish into a kingdom My only complaint is this game doesn't have much in terms of Diplomacy and could improve in terms of combat & End game content I rate this game 3/5 if the dev's want it to be higher this is what i'll need from them to improve my rating 1) More enemies to fight After defeating the nords and purging the tribals & killing the naga its pretty empty 2) More diplomatic options Maybe something to do with marriage to secure alliances instead of "Oh you defeated the guy we hate! you're my best friend now!" 3) More buildings and building fixes End game you don't have many options outside of Resources & many of the buildings *Cough* arrow tower*cough* don't work 4) Incubation time up It's kinda ridiculous that you can force villagers to have babies in 1.5 secs lol 5) Maybe an option to ally yourself with the necromancer if you play God Of Death? I know long review but for the price you pay the game is 100% worth it its like Kingdom New Lands but 100% more content and options aswell as much cheaper! : p
