This isn't just the greatest game of all time, it is the single greatest thing that has ever been made by mankind. This game might as well be the whole reason humanity even exists. Playing just a second of this masterpiece will change your life forever, the story telling is so beautiful, so captivating, so deep, so mind blowingly profound that it will have you smiling, laughing, crying, questioning everything you have ever known, and rethinking your stance on the meaning of life itself. The graphics are so realistic i would sometimes even question if I was staring into a different dimension or not, and to be quite honest I'm still not sure if this game is real or not. They even made six whole movies based on this game. But I would not recommend watching them because they couldn't even get close to replicating this masterpiece. Lego Star Wars The Complete Saga isn't just a game, it's the crowning achievement of everything mankind has ever created. A life changing, once in a life time, gift to the universe that everyone should have to experience. But be warned, once you start playing you will never want to touch or even look at any other game ever again.

Wholeheartedly, I recommend this game. I still fondly remember getting the first ever LEGO star wars game on Christmas along with a Playstation 2, and the early 2000s Hoth Echo Base LEGO set. I played with my twin, on co-op, for HOURSSSS until we 100% completed the game. Ever since then, I have been a fan of Tt games and their newer releases too-- this being one of them. The nostalgia is tremendous; it has compelled multiple different playthroughs, over the years, starting from 0.00% until 100% is seen prominently featured on the progress fob. I still keep replaying it and repeating this kind of cycle again and again, even after all these years. A large part of why, for me, is a rather simple-sounding reason: the core game design and game play experience. The hub world being contained within the limited boundaries of small areas which consist of a cantina's interior, and limited exterior roaming space here and there--all which being roamed by your unlocked minifigs-- is great. Unfortunately though, this is now an antiquated experience since Tt games' more recent releases have shifted away from this model in favor of marketing their games as having larger, more expansive "open-world" hubs filled with nothing but a whole lot of dead-space; the former is what is marketed, the latter is what you get, but I digress. The same is also true though, and it should be noted, about the level designs as well; which may be considered either a "pro" or a "con", depending on your thinking; nonetheless, my preferences are what is offered here, in terms of both game design and level design, as also seen within comparable titles belonging to the same era of games shared by this one. !! FAIR WARNING !! The ship levels are a total burden to play, and, sometimes, admittedly, they are worst than conceivably what a North-Carolinian fire ant enema must feel like upon your nervous system as these ants gnaw their way to freedom from the bowels of your unwashed gamer ass. No but, in all seriousness though, these levels blow. Just get through these with haste and focus on what the other levels have to offer in terms of fun and simple puzzle solving tasks, or collectible hunting, presented through a bifurcated playthrough system of "Story Mode" and "Free Play Mode", respectively. !! FAIR WARNING !! Of course, now this all sounds like nostalgia-fueled, stream-of-consciousness rambling; well, it is (partially). Maybe. Idk. This is actually kind of well worded. Anyways, that's not the point. The point is, don't discount this review quite yet. Honestly, I still think that this game is worth playing, even for those who have never played it growing up, and instead have fond memories with LEGO Batman or LEGO Indiana Jones; or, if that doesn't describe you, because you're growing up for the first time right now, or couldn't play these titles when growing up back in the day, I'd say to you: give this game a whirl and let yourself experience a great childhood classic. To wrap this review up--I think, everyone has or will discover their own special reason(s) for playing or replaying this game, and I don't know what yours is but, what i do know is.... you can strip dance as slave leia in front of swim-trunk-wearing stormtroopers..... idk about eveyone but ik that qualifies as the lowest common denominator reason for many to play this (g)old game lol

As someone who has minimal interest in Star Wars and never finished a LEGO game before, yea, I get it. It's fun, it's chill, there's a lot to unlock and collect, I get why people consider this a childhood classic. Also it has the funny Yoda scream.

The best LEGO game ever and it is not even close. No matter what happens in this game. I am always left satisfied after playing it. It always has this way of making me want to come back and play it and I love that in a video game. 11/10 Better than The Skywalker Saga by a land slide.
