LEGO Builder's Journey is a pretty good puzzle game with a nice story. There is not a lot of content, so I would wait for a lower price. Pros: The game has really good graphics and lighting, the gameplay is relaxing, and I wasn't expecting a heartwarming story. Cons: The controls feel weird, it can be awkward when moving the characters or placing bricks. Some of the puzzles are not designed well. I know the developers want the player to think outside of the box, but I still don't like the solutions to some of the puzzles.

A really cute little game with a puzzle-focused story mode alongside a pretty basic creative mode. It felt very nice to play on controller, though lacks visual PlayStation button layout support. The puzzles were very unique, engaging and consistently ever-changing. Nothing too crazy, just very relaxed. And the game's visuals are absolutely jaw-dropping in-game. Really beautiful, especially with RTX! Looked super realistic compared to actual LEGO bricks. The game's music was also really sweet, comforting and soothing if not a little generic. Very easily eases into the background. Cute!

This recommendation comes with a bit of a caveat. I bought this on sale for $5.00 and I think that was a fair price. The story mode lasts about 2 hours and is fairly simple. Having said that, the game is a beautiful and interesting puzzle about what I presume is a father and son's adventure.

A very very pretty game that tells a rich story which is honestly moving and heartfelt - I felt invested and immersed in the characters' stories and want to know more about them! The graphics are immaculate, especially with RTX enabled, seeing the light reflect across the scratches and imperfections of the bricks like they would in the real world was nothing short of beautiful - much like the Lego Movie if you've seen it. The developers have really managed to capture the essence of Lego; relaxing and full of imagination. I completed the game in around 2 hours, which is disappointingly short. However, I bought on sale and feel that the £3.99 paid is justified. I would perhaps stretch a little higher due to the gorgeous and relaxing atmosphere. I would not however buy at full price. If you like Lego, it's a great little game to pick up. While the story is very short, it has some replayability in that some levels have multiple ways to solve, per the nature of the bricks. The creative mode I'm sure will give many moments of relaxing fun to those interested in building with the resources available. I haven't dived into it yet, just a cursory glance, but it seems that the assets are the same as those throughout the story and the environment can be changed to the different level styles. tl;dr: Buy it on sale if you love Lego and want a nice, relaxing 2-3 hour experience. Also, spoiler: Justice for the robot friend... how do we just leave them down there? After everything they've done for us?! Heartbreaking. :(

In general a cute, fun game, the story is sweet and the puzzles are easy but enjoyable. The only complaint I have is the controls, I don't know if its just me but, for some reason my brain can't get around clicking and holding A (I played this on the Steam Deck for clarification) so I constantly kept dropping, misplacing and picking up other blocks. So sometimes puzzles would stress me out. I would however recommend buying this on sale, it took me around 2.5 hours to complete the campaign.
