I absolutely adore this game. Are the graphics amazing? Not really... Is there a plethora of unique enemies and bosses? Not really... Is it the most intuitive inventory and crafting system? Definitely not. But... Its raw, absolutely brutal, and and hell of a good time. I cant recommend it enough to fans of Dark Souls, Diablo, and Skyrim. If you want to truly feel like the medieval hero you've played so many times, get this game.

This is, hands down, the best VR multiplayer experience out there in 2024. It runs so smoothly and seamlessly. It's incredibly fun. The combat is surprisingly responsive and great. I'm hooked on this game. It's cross-platform is PSVR. Joining a game with your friends is very easy. When playing without my friends, I've encountered plenty of incredibly helpful players to help show me the ropes. You can jump into this game and start having fun immediately without worrying about any deeper mechanics. But if you want to go deeper, you can. There's plenty to do. To be completely honest, this is a fairly standard fantasy RPG and nothing in here is in terms of gameplay or story is particularly groundbreaking... but the fact that it works so well and you do this with your friends... in VR, is just incredible. This feels like the VR experience we've all been waiting for. It's sooo good.

This is a great game and I've been playing for over a hundred hours now, but the price is WAY too high for this game. The reason it's not selling enough copies is cause people don't expect to pay this much for VR games. I get that this is not the typical 'tech demo' VR game, but you are ahead of your time on the price. 29.99 MAX. Wait for a sale.

I'm going to try and address some concerns I've seen in reviews here, since some of them had made me hesitant to jump in. The best way I can describe this game is "Diablo 1 in VR" -- and to me that's quite the compliment, as I loved that first games grittiness and dark feeling. The elephant in the room: Yes...it's more expensive than most VR games. And this is coming from a person notoriously stingy in spending a lot on games. In this space it's crucially important that we support developers like these though, who are attempting to make full-fledged games for us in VR...otherwise more devs will falloff, as has continued to be the case since VR initially had its huge hype back in 2016. I'll talk about my thoughts on that slightly later. So, what is the game like? I must say: it's pretty darn fun! You can tell they're putting a lot of love into this, and I sincerely hope they stay in the VR-space, despite their posts that it's not looking like it'll recoup its development funds. I don't like "Souls" games of any type, and while I've seen the combat described as such...I wouldn't be playing this if it was. Most fights are perfectly fair, and you DO need to take your time -- but it's not horribly punishing. The FIRST boss in the world is, indeed, ultra-hard & overpowered. I'm way over the level for that quest...and I still haven't beaten him. You can venture into other areas though & do fine. I'm not sure why that one is so punishing, but for now I'm just 'building up' until I'm actually strong enough (hah). Their is a strong loot-loop, similar to Diablo 1. It's fun, though I do sell the vast majority of them (like D1). Crafting, upgrading, and dismantling items are pretty darn fun -- though I haven't 'crafted' full weapons yet. You DO fight a lot of the same creatures over-and-over again, at least based on where I've gotten so far. More variety would be 'nice', but it's fun to see you getting more powerful over time against them -- so it remains rewarding. Most of the rest of the game is so well-polished, that I do kind of wish they had fully animated / speaking characters for the few interactions they do have. This isn't fully necessary & am honestly thankful we have some kind of interactions / quests / narrative at all, as I have a hard time getting into games that don't. It would be a nice "to have", though! If you're reading this, chances are you're part of our relatively-small "club" of PCVR enthusiasts. I know everyone tends to expect the 'top tier' experiences like Half-Life: Alyx or Skyrim VR (modded), but let's be realistic: Skyrim was an already-existing game that got some patch work, in hopes it would have been a huge hit during the perceived VR revolution. I sincerely doubt we get anything like that again. Not to mention they're a GIANT studio. Alyx was made by a company with endless money, who were also trying to hype their own VR hardware releasing at the same time. For the rest of the VR experiences out there, this is a way above-average release. Could it be better? Sure, but so could 99% of games out there! The main thing is...each evening I've been looking forward to hopping back in -- and that's a very good sign. Oh yeah: I haven't even played with others yet...I can imagine that would increase the fun factor exponentially! :)

its a great game to play with friends and the physics are great but it would be better if they brought back the dungeons and added more weapons
