Just finished the game. Story: 9/10 Gameplay: 9/10 Music: 8.5/10 Art/ graphic: 8/10 This game has a lot of text, so it might feel boring for people who aren’t used to story-focused games.

Beautiful pixel art, tight writing, cinematic direction, genuinely difficult decisions and perfect length make this a strong recommend. The stylised camera movement may make you feel sick and controls are awkward to get used to at first are minor flaws. Backtracking to the train station got tedious. Chapter selection after completion would be welcome

Initially, I was not very fond of this game. The pixel graphic and game controls were meh, a lot of the activity was unnecessary (open door, push button, exit the elevator, open another door), and a lot of the activities felt like patining by numbers. However, with progressing gameplay, I felt increasingly intrigued. The characterization of the protagonists was well-balanced, the narrative progressed naturally, and the general direction of the game felt more and more contemporary, given the state of the world in the 21st century. The trump card, however, was that the game puts us in very difficult moral dilemmas; we repeatedly have to decide between several options whose outcomes might be devastating. And after the second run-through, I was surprised how certain developments that looked like predestined in the first round, suddenly took a totally different turn - in fact, eight different versions of the storyline exist, ensuring that you can play it more than once. This game gets wholeheartedly my recommendation.

Classic hard boiled fiction, some nice twists and turns. A fun game, but seeing all of the endings will take you a while, especially since you can't skip cutscenes or save and quit.
