You start the game having the characters already on level 20+ and still on the same world map. 3x better than the prequel with major improvement such as: + They make the game more horror-ish. + Added more playable character (+3) and character slot (+1). + They removed CUES and added skill book instead, if the player manage to find a skill it goes to the inventory and can be used until the appropriate character is playable. + Easier money and xp gain. + better exploration, meaning Player less likely to get lost, less map looping/added map border. The only downside to this sequel is that the ending is bad, having the character is sp and not mana (blue bar) oriented, as far as I know there's no buy-able potion/item to instantly boost the character sp, so that's sucks.

If you played the first one, this is the same. Except it's harder. Not in general and not on purpose, I think. But more like Labyrinthine learned about balancing. The first game was super easy, this one does provide challenge. You can't just level up your way out of things unless you're willing to grind. It is a solid RPG so I can't complain about that and I think it's definitely worth playing, but just wish it had more. Just maybe 5-10 things more? Just some world building stuff that could be given as facts, instead of rumours or history type of lore. maybe? I feel like the story focused too much what happened in the first game and not enough at how exactly the world changed. Like, the first game Labyronia wasn't quite fleshed out enough to for cataclysm, maybe? But despite all that I like this world and it keeps me curious for more. You can't go wrong with trying.
