There's a lot to love here. Boss fights while not super difficult are fun and hopefully with time the team learns how to design more intricate content for pve. PVP is solid... there's a lot of matchmaking problems though imo. Also due to the combo nature of the game not being overly apparent a lot of mmo players are struggling to find the ground they are looking for... Writing is probably the weakest section of the game its limited to mostly cutscenes which are overly generic. With it being so minimal it feels easy to ignore for anyone who has played a lot of mmo and or anime content...Since it's incredibly predictable; which might not have been a bad thing if the voice acting was top notch but it's right in the middle of the pack. Environmental and raid style story telling are important to mmo style games and in its current state what's on offer isn't enough.

This in an update to my previous review. In my previous review I did not recommend this game, due to the devs being greedy, since they locked half of the beta classes behind a paywall. They have recently made the game game, they are also currently working on fixing the rebirth system. Since by definition it is currently pay2win. Now we are still waiting to see how easy it will be to earn rebirths for new players and my review will change accordingly (ie If they make them free but they become an impossibly long grind to get a single rebirth). Things that still need to be changed: If you are anything like me, then you like being able to change your characters look. however there a certain things you must know before you play this game. First off dyes have 3 different tiers and getting dyes is way to expensive and RNG based. I hope this will be addressed soon. I personally believe you should be able to dye your clothing whatever colour you want for free like in basically any other MMORPG or HUB based game such as in Warframe. Lastly being able to hide parts of your gear is still not part of this Early Access, so I hope you like eye patches and face masks.

This game.. what a doozy this review will be to write. So first off, THIS GAME IS IN NO WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM PAY TO WIN. The classes ARE COMING OUT FOR FREE. They've addressed this in the stream, and on the news page. For gods sake people, READ! Onto the gameplay: It's a mission-based game. You queue for missions, complete the missions, get rewards and come back. That's basically the entire game as of right now. PVP works essentially the same way. It is possible to play this game entirely PvE, and not see a single bit of PvP. There ARE mission cooldowns at times with PvE. I find the game quite fun, despite not having many hours. I DID buy the Karma DLCs but ONLY because I wanted to get the outfit and weapons that come with once they go free. Onto the community. The community is all over the place. You've got people who complain about other people taking their outfit ideas. (duh, take it as a compliment, they think it looks good) You've got people who scream pay to win, touching on supply boxes. (the difference in stats is negligible, if not non-existent.) I have outfits that have the exact same stats even though some are from the supply boxes) Also, note the fact that the supply boxes will be made AP/CP purchasable only! (that's the ingame currency. That you can't buy.) Overall... 7/10, would watch my teats jiggle again.

51 Hour Review *updates post-announcement* Hi guys, I've played this quite a bit. I decided to read through the negative reviews and there is just a LOT of misinformation in there. I'll set some things straight! 1. The underwear that is $9.99 does not have ANY stats on it. Everyone spreading information that it does has no idea what they are talking about. 2. The DLC classes are not overpowered. The meta is Archer/Witch, Archer/Fist, Archer/Sword, or Fist/Sword. If anything, Archer may be a tad bit strong :3. 3. Some people said that their ult did less damage than an auto attack. They were likely comparing archer ult (not very high damage) to witch auto attack (witch does a lot of damage, but easy to dodge as the projectiles are slow with plenty of space between). 4. This was marketed as a PvE/PvP game. It was my understanding that the focus would be on PvP. There really isn't much content here, but this shouldn't stop you from having a bit of fun every now and then while you wait for them to add new content. They already mentioned, a few days in, adding the dual blade class soon. 5. People have mentioned grinding to unlock gear that has better stats than the starter gear. All gear shares the same strength. The stat types may vary, but the stat values start at the same regardless of the type of gear. You grind to unlock gear for cosmetic purpose or increase the strength of existing gear through an upgrade system. 6. Stunlock PvP? You can definitely get stunlocked. That's why it's 2v2 and you can swap between a breaker and a slayer. The breaker can easily break stunlocks + tank. All about that teamwork. If you charge in alone and get 1v2'd, you're probably going to get stunlocked 100-0. This is a pure "git gud" right here. 7. Lag, lobby bug, steam inventory item usage... well, this is an Early Access game, so... they're already releasing an emergency patch a few days in. Still plenty of bugs, but they were addressed by the announcement. We can assume that they are working to resolve these issues. 8. DLC for $$. They are removing this. These classes will now be free. 9. The lootboxes, I will not lie, are garbo. 10. Rebirth tokens are a clear P2W, but they are already resolving them. What you will get is a fantastic combat system, great graphics, and fun 2v2 matches ^_^. I'd recommend to start getting serious at launch when they have a whole bunch of content for you to enjoy and to just touch on it until then = ). PvE can get really repetitive, but I personally find the PvP to be loads of fun even if the modes are kinda uninspiring and the stages are few.
