🧪 FIELD REPORT: KKND 2: Krossfire Agent: MRChanutty | Playtime: 27.7 hrs | Difficulty: Normal–Hard ... Day 1 – Bought this purely for nostalgia. I remember watching my brother play it as a kid. Day 2 – Started with the Survivors faction — the only CD we had back then. I still remembered most missions even after 20+ years. Day 3 – The crashes can happens all the time. Random mission fails. "Cannot create more units." Total chaos — and not the fun kind. Day 4 – Learned to save obsessively. Tweaked max unit settings in options, don't know why the devs put it only 300 units . Day 5 – Beat the Survivors. Moved on to the Evolved. Day 9 – Last mission of Survivor is imba. It was packed tight with enemy units with 10+ oil puddles. Had to consult YouTube. Turns out, early-game rush is the only way. Day 10 – Switched to Series 9. Much easier after the Evolved pain. Day 11 – Started messing around with suicide transport squads and early rush tactics. Just because I could. Day 12 – Still crashing. Save files corrupted. Reloads failed. Classic retro jank. Day 14 – Completed all campaigns. Uninstalled. Worth it — but only barely. ... 🧠 LIFE FIT INSIGHT This one’s for childhood memories — don’t force yourself through it unless you’re chasing that feeling. I was tired, nostalgic, and wanted to reconnect with something that made me happy as a kid. The game... barely held together. But maybe that’s part of the charm.

Besides StarCraft II and w40k: Dawn of War is K.K.N.D still my FAVOURITE Strategy game of all time. The booklet in KKND (1) was written very funny and K.K.N.D 2 had so much good Intentions with it's integrated ingame editor. If you like retro games and especially strategy games - this one is a MUST HAVE. I still hope there will bea K.K.N.D 3 one day... :)

I played the demo as a child and I used to love it. The game is difficult as f and it's only playable with kwid mod for higher resolutions ( highly recommended, it fixes the "no more units" and mission failed" bugs. If your game starts to crash after a certain amound of hours, just use steam to regain missing files and play with the mod again) . It has many flaws but I still loved the experience

Эта игра не нуждается в представлении. Шедевр золотой эпохи RTS. Сама возможность редактировать характеристики юнитов и зданий даёт возможность переделать баланс игры полностью так как хочется. This game needs no introduction. A masterpiece from the golden era of RTS. The very ability to edit the characteristics of units and buildings makes it possible to remake the balance of the game completely as you want.
