I watched the gameplay of this from the wonderful mother herself, Ihascupquake. Since then, I've enjoyed it even more and to play it is an understatement. I have crunched this game for the first 2 days and have made so much progress already. It's fun, it's cute, it's quirky, and most of all it is so DRAG <3 Being a Queer person and playing from another person within the community who just so happens to be an awesome game dev has me LIVING. Please play this game and continue to support it. So much love, mwah! XOXO

Entertaining, I was excited to try a matchmaking game! Lots of mini games and increasing challenge. Be prepared to calculate tips and remember phone numbers lol. My gripe is that one mistake can sometimes make you lose a near perfect match. Unfortunately it's very outdated and includes negative body & food talk, that perpetuates diet culture and can be triggering, especially for people with EDs. There's frequent, harmful dialogue like "wonder if that food is fattening", Would you like dessert? "I shouldn't", "not sure, but I'm willing to risk the impact on my BMI", "no dairy as I'm dieting". These are common phrases in the game. Kitty also keeps body shaming herself in supposed-to-be jokes ("jiggly in all the wrong places"). I found all of this really bothering, uncomfortable and unnecessary. This can contribute to negative self image, and makes me not want to play the game. The game is inclusive and you get to match LGB(T?) couples as well. However there's a lot of stereotyping and labeling. There's self irony like "I don't like labeling, but" *proceeds to label anyway* "This is a geeky type. Bless them!". It's condescending. Some characters talk in an odd, robotic, formal way. Maybe it's supposed to be British humor about the geeky type, but it's more like distracting (and unrelatable). The game makes you give up on morals as it's incentivized to lie to the date. Also I don't think it's a good message to change appearance, like hair color, for a person you date. There's an incentive to do so. NGL, I hate the characters' design, but you get used to it and there are some bearable options. Most achievements are hard or time-consuming to get. I got this from a discount.

This game is great, I brought this game because when I was a little girl I would watch YouTubers watch it with envy now that I'm an adult I play ever chance I get because it's that good. I honestly believe this is a good investment, if you want a game that's not that challenging and pretty rewarding!

Kitty Powers' Matchmaker is a silly dating sim where you play as a matchmaker helping other people succeed on their dates. This game is delightful. Its humor is stupid in a way that doesn't take itself seriously, so you have no choice but to laugh along. Many of the prompts and conversations are zany, and the atmosphere of this game is simple but pleasant. It's got great replayability as every date is different, even when you understand how everything works. The challenges are fun to figure out and the buyables were fun to collect. This was a quirky time waster that was perfect for when I had just a few minutes to spare here and there. I enjoyed it far more than I thought I would, and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a silly game that they don't have to take very seriously while still having a good time.

Quite repetitive by design, but overall an enjoyable, non-serious game. Plenty of humor, silliness, and innuendo to keep it fun while you try to figure out the inner game mechanics. The achievements seem like fair and attainable challenges. No regrets buying or playing this.
