Been playing this since the old days when it was on Newgrounds. It was great then, and it's great now. Pretty sure you can play this for free on mobile, but have to pay to unlock heroes. Heroes are free with the steam purchase, but have to progress through the game to unlock them. If you like this one, give Origins/Frontiers a go. Equal if not better quality

One of the best tower defense games of all time. An incredbily charming game with very satisfying gameplay that gets you thinking. You get bonus points if you played this on Armor Games like I did in 2012.

The Kingdom Rush series is one of the best tower defense games ever created. Kingdom Rush is a game that delights with its variety of levels, units and tactics. Addictive gameplay, humorous characters and colorful graphics make each mission unique. Additional challenges and heroes diversify the fun, making it satisfying and addictive for many hours. A classic in the Tower defense category.

Playing Kingdom Rush on PC after more than 10 years was a pleasant experience. The game retains its original charm with its addictive and challenging tower defense gameplay, vibrant graphics, and witty humor. I had forgotten how difficult the veteran mode was, as well as the variety of heroes and towers. Nostalgia meets fun, reminding me why it remains a timeless classic in its genre.

This was 100% a nostalgia purchase and I still really like this game! Although the campaign is a lil short, I think it's a really good tower defence game for beginners to the genre. The art is also very nostalgic for anyone who grew up watching flash animations or played some of the early flash/mobile games back in the day. It should also be noted that unlike in the mobile game, you can get all of the heroes included in your purchase, meaning you won't have to pay more than the base price for the game! Overall I think the game holds up well, but it could be a little too easy for some folks. Rating: Good Game MVP: Bolin Farslayer (my go to hero :3 )
