A great party game that allows for many to play without the need to purchase multiple copies. The continued support the developers put into this game always brings a new experience with new encounters to play. A definite 10/10 game.

Very fun game to play with a bunch of your friends! Just the idea of having people try to overthrow the ruler while also looking out for their own agendas is just cool overall. I do not recommend you buy this if you only have 2 other friends that would play with you. Minimum you must have 3 others, the more the better.

Originally I did not recommend this game because it requires a connection to servers I did not think would be kept alive long term. However, having considered the response given by the developers, I have chosen to change my stance. King of the Castle is good fun if you've got a group who just wants to have some lighthearted fun for a few hours. In my experience the game really thrives when you get a group in the same room, and really get into the spirit of it.

March 2024

Spent 3,000 coins to buy a magic orb, turned a rival into a fish, and died when I went bankrupt and ran into a tree. Was remembered as "the Poor" and ruled for about one year. Extremely fun game
