That was a nasty fall you had there, man. Huh? Killing Floor 3? Battle pass? Hero shooter? 2025? Dude, it's 2014. They just released the End of The Line update, come on, let's try out the new map.

god tier pve co-op shooter from the long forgotten era where developers knew how to make fun games with a dark aesthetic, unique sense of style, and deep co-op mechanics instead of harping on turning everything into a sterile hero shooter with smarmy self-referential humor where everyone can just run and slide around hopped on speed without having to actually, you know, co-operate this unique mix of dark and foreboding survival horror aesthetic and feel combined with genuinely funny campy humor is something we'll never see again, it's a true product of its time in the best way imaginable

I've been playing this on and off since 2013 and I'm somehow just not tired of it. Gameplay loop is crazy satisfying and never gets old even though this game can definitely be considered outdated to today's standards. This game is generally more difficult than the second title, which I prefer because it usually keeps me playing for longer, especially the way difficulty is designed for the Killing Floor series. Other games usually just make enemies into bullet sponges and make it so you receive more damage, which tends to end up being more annoying than it is fun. Has a lot of achievements that will keep hardcore players coming back for the grind and the best part for me is that this game relies heavily on Co-op/ team play, but is still very much playable as a solo game as well. Overall, I prefer my Co-op survival experience to be more like this rather than CoD zombies. This feels more tactical and avoids the strategy of training zombies mindlessly around in a circle at the best part of the map. That still exists in this game to an extent, but it's not very viable with all perk classes especially on higher difficulties. Many people would not recommend this game anymore, since it is very much a dead game now at 15 years old, but I would say it's never too late to play a game as good as this. There's still time to get good enough and play casually with what's left of the hardcore crowd still playing online today in November of 2024. With all of that said, I think I will eventually stop playing this one day soon when the 3rd title drops, but it is still possible to get hundreds of hours of enjoyment from this game even if you're late to the party with all of the available custom maps and mods from the workshop. For now, I'll keep basking in all the nostalgia this game brought me and enjoy it until my time has come to move on to something else.

Great game, but at no point do you actually kill the floor so this is just false advertisement.

Great game and lots of fun to play with friends. Despite it being dated I think this is still a game well worth buying to play with friends. The combat is superb and it's a lot of fun to bump up the difficulty and try and beat the level and very frantic and rewarding to do so. The games title is a bit misleading though as at no point did I kill a floor or get killed by the floor.
