im a diehard kill la kill fan, i wanted to try the game they had, and it played pretty decent and is mechanically interesting, wish the game got support because it has a lot of potential, but its so barebones content wise it hurts once you beat the story there is nothing to do and the dead playerbase does not help either, better experience with mods for sure though

Edit: Only buy this game only when it is at 75% off. If you are a kill la kill fan then this game is a 6 or 7 out of 10. If you are a going in blind this game is like 4 out of 10. This game was all right. It felt like an unfinished product like there were parts that were highly detailed yet there were scuffed aspects as well. The gameplay is decent (7/10), the story mode is 4 out of 10, the other game modes are repetitive and brain-dead (3/10). So I would personally give it a 6/10 because I like the franchise and the game play is decent. (The other aspects are mid or less tho).

Wanted to get it when it released but after the negative reviews and steep price I forgot about it, and now 5 years later..well it was alright, I loved seeing the characters again and I'm not complaining since I didn't expect anything more from it.

I'm disappointed not with the game, because I couldn't play it, but with those responsible who haven't fixed the game's startup bug since the last update. You try to open it and the game closes, it opens for 2 or 3 seconds with a black screen and then closes instantly, I don't want a refund, I want them to fix it so I and others who bought it can enjoy it. BaackTheBaptist Go to the "graphic settings" in your settings, you should be able to click "browse". Then find the Kill la Kill IF exe file, and click "options", then "high performance". Then when you launch the game have the GPU selection be the high performance one. AntennaAngel EDIT: It FINALLY launched. For whatever reason, setting it to windowed 1280x720, it worked, despite everything else I have tried to do. It worked by chance. Thanks to the information from these two I was able to get the game to work. Thanks. For those who watched the anime and just want to have fun, it's even an interesting option, to remember the same thing.

I went into Kill la Kill knowing nothing of the IP or game and what a hidden gem it has turned out to be. After finishing the first 10 missions which seems to be the first part of the story with another 6 or so missions for the second part I would describe the game like this. It has a lot of cut scenes setting up the player controlled fights which have a strong manga/ghost in the shell/Japanese style which is great. If the idea of watching anime leading up to and following the gameplay sounds good this will add to your enjoyment of the game. The gameplay is sorta similar to dragonball but with less flying. One of the refreshing aspects of this game is that has it's own style and identity. Both in how it plays and the story it tells. There is a player vs player, with global ranked but I have yet to try this out but it's there. Visually and technically the game plays well and looks good however 1080p is the max res. which is a shame as 4k crispness would make the anime and combat look even better. I would love to see the developers patch this with 4k resolution support. Sound is good as is the voice acting. Overall - this has been fun to play and entertaining to watch so it's an easy recommend. Overall an easy recommend from me
