Our Setup: Steam Deck + Steam Dock + 2 PS4 Controllers on a 65-inch TV Our 8- and 10-year-old kids enjoyed the game. The levels offer a good variety, with some requiring puzzle-solving. The different Kiwi skins serve as a nice incentive to keep playing. The mini-games also provide a nice change of pace. Overall, it's a cute and enjoyable couch co-op experience that encourages teamwork. The game runs at 1080p and mostly maintains a steady 60fps.

The Steamdeck compatibility warns you that external controllers don't work, but I still purchased after seeing some reviews that said they do. While external controllers work, expect them to randomly stop working, disconnect, swap players or have 3 seconds input delay randomly throughout the gameplay. It was a little painful to restart or reconnect every 20mins or so, but my partner and I managed to finish the base game with the deck docked to the TV running 1080p. If they release an update to fix the controller input we might come back and finish some of the optional challenges.

Fun co-op game in the vein of overcooked where you have to sort letters and packages under a strict time limit to try and get 3 stars. Usual shouting and desperation ensues, but not quite as testing on one's relationships as Overcooked. Can get a bit framy and definitely has that unity look, but a fun time was had with my wife and son (2 player only though).

It's more challenging than you think it would be, while simultaneously being a very fun and chill experience with a lot of variety. An "easy to learn difficult to master" game and great for teaching teamwork and coordination. Replayed the whole campaign with my son after a few years break, and the whole time we were like "OH this level, I remember liking this one!" and in general had a great time even on the second time around. Even stressful moments lead to greater victory celebrations. I think in the end we were more interested in beating our best times than making certain rankings. Good game.

The game is totally infuriating and there is so much yelling going on while playing with friends, and the birds yelling at us was a bit too much on us.... but the birbs be so cute so 10/10 would recommend to one and all
