Great game but not being able to save manually sucks. All the work I did rearranging my place and buying new stuff is gone. Please for the love of god, add this simple mechanic that has been around for decades

Kebab Chefs game is very enjoyable, with detailed and realistic cooking mechanics. It immerses you in a realistic experience by allowing you to choose from a variety of recipes, each requiring precise preparation and cooking steps. The game is fantastic, and I highly recommend trying it, especially with co-op. 1000000/10.

A customer bought a hotdog, and the sausage got stuck in their table but I can't remove it. It rotted, so now it looks like someone took a shit on the table. nothing is cooked to order, I pre-cook everything, every dish is sitting in my freezer and goes into the microwave before serving. all my customers die from food poisoning because I serve the same chicken soup over the course of a week, and it's sitting on the stove the whole workday, every day.

This game is fucking fantastic. Scratches that perfect itch no other game has scratched. - You get to manually cook the meals step-by-step after you buy the ingredients at the stores nearby (NOT online). - You get to decorate your restaurant the way you want, moving EVERYTHING in the store besides the doors, windows, and walls. - You get to interact with the customers yourself or you can hire waiters to do it for you. - You get to choose where to store your ingredients. - You get to prepare food and put it in the fridge to pull back out later. - You get to gamble. And... - You get to exploit play with your friends! But holy cow is this so early access. I've played other early access games before (though not many). This one is unique in how you will be reminded of how it's early access almost the entire time you play the game. Whether it be noticeable bugs, unpolished annoyances, or questionable ideas, you will encounter them. Some examples, ranging from very annoying to just weird/overlooked. - No custom keybind option. (This one hurts me specifically with LCtrl as Crouch. My hands are too small to hit LCtrl comfortably so I end up not using the bottom shelf on shelves and end up only being able to place a few things on the bottom shelf of the fridge, which isn't great for space saving.) - The game does not lower its power/CPU/GPU/RAM usage or FPS when you tab out. In the middle of playing a friend asked for help with something, I couldn't leave the game open while doing this without hearing my PC fans working hard. - You cannot save midday. - Edit mode is only first person, making ceiling and wall decorating particularly annoying. - The "snapping" mode works well much of the time, but other times it is your worst enemy. It's not always guaranteed to work as it should (i.e. won't snap to a corner counter, a serving counter can only snap to a regular counter backwards no matter how many times I hit the "flip" button). - Turning on and off the Grid in Edit Mode (hit "G") will also open/collapse the pinned recipe in the bottom left (also hit "G"). - If you have open the pinned recipe window in the bottom left when you open the tablet, it will stay open and appear on top of the tablet UI. You cannot hit "G" to close it while in the tablet (unlike the above bullet when it triggers at a time it shouldn't). - If you try to clean the floor or wash a plate at the same time one of your waiters tries to do the same, the cleaning animation you make (a sponge scrubbing and a lot of bubbles) will not disappear until you close the game. - If you (and not your waiters) click a customer to let them pay and leave and then not pick up the money they leave behind, your waiters will not pick up the money for you. - It's common to see your served food appear raw/"unassembled" (i.e. kebab not folded in bread) when in front of customers. - When customers are in the way of your serving counter they block your ability to click on the counter to serve food (most often food they are waiting for ). Happens more when you're at a higher level/have a crowded restaurant. - Switching between the Tablet, Normal mode, and Edit mode, you'll get messed up. I can't explain it, it just doesn't feel natural. - This one hurts most for people who want to decorate in unique ways: the wallpaper and the floor (at least in the first restaurant) do not line up. - No matter how much money you spend at once (be it 100 or 20000) the animation of the total number of cash you have goes down at the same pace. This means that I'd only wait <1s to see my remaining cash after purchasing something for $100, but can take >5s if I purchase something for $20000 or more. Not great when you want to see how much cash you have left to know what you can buy. There are many suggestions I could make, and I'll probably make a discussion post with some later on, but the most important ones I can think of right now are, firstly, having a UI element that shows how many servings are left of each dish on your menu. I currently have my serving counters at the front of my restaurant and the kitchen at the back. I have to run to the front to see what needs to be replaced when I hear the "it's empty" sound cue, which isn't great considering most of the time I'm cooking something else and will take it off the grill momentarily. Secondly, expand "perks" and make them usable. What's there is a good start, but the players aren't dumb, giving actual numbers like "reduces # of dirty dishes from customers by 15%" makes the perks feel more productive than they do at the moment. In conclusion, get the game but be prepared to be a patient QA tester. I have not encountered a bug that broke the game yet, but I have felt that the game is quite unpolished.
