Beautiful and well optimized. However it's still one of the only games that can make me sick in VR. Not sure why. Great title to show off the beauty of virtual reality though!

Fantastic game, very realistic physics feeling and beautiful visuals. Unfortunately I have had to refund as I just can't play it without it making me feel sick. If you get motion sickness be prepared to take pills before each session haha! Stunning game though!

I recommend the game even though I had to refund it. It’s beautiful, with great controls and physics. However, I get seasick easily in real life, and this game’s simulation is so accurate that I would start feeling sick after only a few minutes. I can typically play VR for a few hours, but not this one.

ONLY BUY ON SALE It's visually stunning, and the physics are good, it's certainly a VR showcase piece to show off VR, but really that's about it. There isn't much content sadly. You will be in awe as you paddle around the scenes, that's it really, nothing to hold you or bring you back. More content has supposedly been on the way for a while now, but nothing has arrived or even been teased. At Xmas they reused the previous years scene. They have a "roadmap", but I don't have any reason to believe it's anything other than wishful thinking. If you can attach you controllers to a pole it's a better experience and more realistic/immersive, you can rotate the paddle then too. This is better with Lighthouse tracking though as of course controllers can go out of view of your HMD with this method. TLDR: Beautiful with good physics. Buy on sale, play a few times then use it as a VR showcase piece. Don't expect more content.

The landscapes are gorgous and it's fun paddling around but even though I played other games (HL: Alyx for example) with continuous motion in VR without any problems, I got intense VR sickness in this game, if I were to guess I'd say its because of the kayak moving with the waves, paired with the (gorgeous) refractions of the water, and the accessibility options sadly didn't really help either, so sadly I have to refund it. For anyone who has even a slight problem with VR sickness I absolutely wouldn't reccommend it, but otherwise it is a lot of fun and looks amazing.
