I went into this game thinking it was a rhythm game, but it's actually a bullet hell survivor game, kind of like Undertale. Still, the music plays a big role in the game, since the levels and enemies react to the beat of the music. The game is really fun, although the story mode is a bit short, I finished it in like 3 hours. It has a hardcore mode that changes the levels to be harder, a challenge mode, multiplayer and extra tracks that are unlocked by playing challenge mode, so don't be fooled by the short story. Speaking of the story, I was surprised that this game actually has a plot, although its not told through words but only through animations. It's a simple plot, but it has plot twists and fourth wall breaks, which is pretty surprising considering, as I said, it uses no words. Even the overworld stage select works as mini levels in certain sections, where you have to avoid enemies while navigating the map. The graphics are amazing, it only uses a few colors, and basic geometric shapes, but despite that it manages to look gorgeous and the levels have some amazing effects that you wouldn't think possible with such limitations. The game also has a ton of references to games and media, Mario, Pacman, even James Bond. And if you are a fan of Undertale you will find a familiar track in here. Overall, the game was super fun and I highly recommend it. Despite the title, this game is much more than just shapes and beats.

Game is dead now unfortunately as no one really knows about it anymore and this is sad because this is a very cool rhythm game and it also has a surprisingly good story. Everything is good in this game: the music, the mechanics, the menus. Unfortunately the developers rarely update the game and the players can't create their own level so there isn't anything new. Overall it's a good rhythm game that wasn't too hard for me.

A good singleplayer game with potential to be extremely fun with friends but the lack of custom level editor just makes this game irrelevant in the long run, rhythm games live and die by their content and this one has very little replayability unfortunately Still worth its price but probably the greatest wasted potential in its genre

I play this game in real life but instead of dodging random shapes that look like monsters I throw myself into oncoming traffic whilst listening to spotify

I love just shapes and beats. Something that could be added though to keep the game alive could be to add a level editor.
