The Chillasart fan community seems to want exactly the opposite of me, because in my opinion this was definitely the best thing the two of them have produced in a very long time, Night Security was a real transitional step at a solid level and Jisatsu unfortunately missed a few Opportunities, but convincing as a pure horror experience on a completely different level than its unintentionally funny predecessors.

This is the seventh Chilla's Art game I have played and the first one to make me feel truly uneasy the entire time. It was very well made and had some true scares! The story was also compelling and had my friends and I piecing together the puzzle between the VHS tapes and real time game play. Great game!

Don't listen to mixed reviews, the game is good I'm not the biggest Chilla's fan, I play their games from time to time and find some of them enjoyable. Jisatsu caught my eye simply because lately you rarely see a game from these developers that recieves such poor rating from the community. After the sucsess of Parasocial and okay-ish Kidnap and Night Security you expect Chilla to do better, and despite what reviews say, it gets better. · Graphics are top notch, probably the best looking Chilla game ever rn. Finally crappy optimisation is somewhat justified. They definitely nailed the mockumentary horror aesthetics. · Sound design is good, all squeaks and knocks increase the creep factor, however some noises are louder than they should be, mixing is not the best. · Scares (including jumpscares) are done well to shake you up and make you question things all the time. You constantly feel unwanted and watched. · Gameplay is the weakest part, it's a walking simulator where you walk around and collect stuff, not the most exciting thing to do, but hey, that's normal for Chilla. The only negatives I could talk about is motion sickness inducing camera movement and inconsistent flashlight light which unfortunately can't be changed. It takes around 1 hour to beat, achievements have encrypted meaning and are based on your playtime as well as no multiple endings this time around. Game's location is pretty creepy, It remind me of Resident Evil 7 with its decayed environment and use of tapes to tell a separate story. From what I've gathered game is about christians in Japan that had to hide in order to not get persecuted for their belives, and this house holds an underground shrine that is supposedly cursed. For some reason this game has mixed reviews. I dont understand why. This is one of Chillas best new ones with a return to form. No action or jumpscares, just pure tension and dread with a creepy tale centered around Japanese culture. I think some of the problems people have are with the ending... there are tons of videos explaining and theorizing what it meant and thats what I like about this game. Its a true supernatural horror mixed with that Chilla Thrilla. And it leaves alot to the imagination... like any good creepy horror does! I think its a much more mature representation of their early work. I think its one of the best.

The game itself does have a tense atmosphere of not knowing what to expect / when its going to happen but I think overall it was ok for a Chilla's Art game just that it feels rushed in terms of development along with the fact I got lost a few times not knowing what to do next. It is creepy though with its story being in obscure VHS tapes with certain things censored with black boxes along with things around the house. It has a few good jumpscares as well so i'll give it that Overall its alright camera movement wasn't the best at the start but I got used to it and the game did stutter a few times but I enjoyed it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-AhM7SRDXDI
