Nice release, 40 hours story mode gameplay guaranteed. I don't have regrets waiting for it. + nice pixel art and music + big variety of equipment and stats to minmax with + bosses have nice design + rooms design and loot progression are pleasant / not disturbing + hub/npcs and random npcs designed very well too - expected different character customization/animations for different weapons, many just shares sprite, disappointed a lot. Ideally for armor too. - I hate despair moving camera closer and not able to turn this off in settings - just a bit of poise stuns all mobs/bosses - no much motivation to try different weapons or armor while can have just dumb all-angle fast crit hitting build. Just overdamage everything with a bit of poise - no need of evade, health or defense at all - sequence stat - more than 6 (I risked to had 32 in total to check how much slideshow it will be) - slows down game speed drastically, character barely moves on the screen. reported. - no defense from poison puddles, they can instakill on increased difficulty - no further meta progression currently, after X enhancement and triple-melt there is nothing to do - expected bit more variety of orange (legendary) equipment, some types are just garbage (body, helms).

Incredible, fun game. For an early access, solo dev game, this is very very good. I wish this to be successful just so you can add even more variety to items, and maybe more skill diversity. But otherwise I was GLUED to my screen for an entire day, 12 hours straight.

I love this game. However, there are currently only about 2 hours of content. Developer is super nice and transparent, and is active in the subreddit. I know this is a project to watch. Whether you should buy it comes down to whether you'd like to support an indie dev make his dream come true, or whether you want the finished product. Up to you.

This is the first time in my 20ish years on steam that I've felt compelled to leave a review. This game is clearly the passion project of developer who understands what a gamer wants from an ARPG experience. The gameplay is clean and intuitive, the itemization is compelling and will have you sorting through your inventory to create fun, unique builds. I'm looking forward to the future developments of this game.

This is a lot of fun, games like path of exile restrict certain item combinations because they'd be too strong. This game feels very similar in the core proposition that its fun is built on combining items in interesting ways, but rather than turning off combinations that would be patently ludicrous, it RELISHES in it. You see two items that look like they would be completely insane if it let you stick them together but rather than prevent you from do that, it just sort of wiggles its eyebrows enticingly. It doesn't have necromancy yet but the developer told me he's going to add it, and when I tried to figure out what's the limit in how far he's willing to go (because summoning is exactly the kind of mechanic where developers tend to hamstring it in the interest of balance) he explained that the entire point was to encourage you to make as crazy shit as possible. Aside from the core principle of being the black tar heroine of ARPG builds, the music is for some reason phenomenal and carries the atmosphere all on its own.
