Fun, Fun, Fun, You fly fast and kill thousand of monster. Ergonomy is very well design and nothing is anoying you from the fun of the game. Go, run and shoot, plenty of otptions, easy to handle and fast to play. One of the best game I see since a long time. Just pure pleasure, a game as we don't see much nowadays.

I almost returned this because it currently runs like šŸ’© on the steam deck. But the game is extremely fun. Iā€™m hoping it gets optimized in the future.

its cool for what it is.. mech combat is the best part about this by far.. i wish the whole game was focused on the mech... give it a shield for one arm shoulder lanchers/turrets a slam effect when you jump better dash abillities etc etc... the movement is super fluid and fun could be one of the best mecha games out there...

I had fun with the game, though it was over a bit too soon (probably 7 hours played time). But then with the depth of the game I wouldn't have wanted it to go on longer, that would have been a boring grind. I like that you always get to keep all upgrades, so you just keep getting more powerful, and the only penalties for death are losing half your held crystals, and respawning back at base. Pretty mild penalties. That does mean there's not a huge amount of challenge here. You can easily farm upgrade materials and always be overpowered vs the enemies, bosses included. It does have some strange design decisions though. For example once you unlock the next unlockable weapon, you'll never to go back to an older one because the new ones are always waaay more powerful. So you get locked in to the latest weapon's playstyle rather than them being equally powered but with different mechanics so you can play whichever feels better to you. That also means when you get the last unlockable weapons, those are the ones you'll use until you finish the game. Similarly once you unlock the mech there's no reason to use the ship at all as the mech earns FAR more resource. OK so there are 3 reasons to use the ship - Your're forced to to teleport, it's much faster for travelling long distance (rarely needed), it's the only mode you can enter the garage in (3 seconds usage per run). The trailer shows copious usage of the ship, but really 80% of the game is the mech, unless you want to gimp yourself hugely. You can middle click to auto-fire your primary weapon in the ship, so why doesn't this work for the mech too? Please, save us some RSI. And there's the mini tower challenges. The resource yield from these for time invested is so low it makes them something to be avoided, particularly as you get further into the game. Replay value is admittedly very limited. Two UI things for the dev - the cursor is orange. The ground is orange. Explosions are orange. Flames are... you get the idea. I kept losing sight of the cursor ALL THE TIME! Please build in the option to change the colour. It's the same issue with the health readout. Go fight a Lord, fire a nuke in his face, and then good luck reading your health! Some of the achievements are not in balance with the game. e.g. I completed the game with about 150k kills. There is an achievement for 1 million kills! What, so I'm expected to just sit there mind-numbingly killing cannon fodder for endless hours? Also the 100,000 levels achievement - I completed the game with under 10k levels. So once again, just a mind-numbing multi-hours grind for the achievement? Also bear in mind you keep having to returning to base and spend resource to get those levels. So how many visits to base is that? Maybe I'm not the target audience for those achievements... That all said (and I realised I've spent most of the time complaining), I had fun with the game, it looks good, and it costs next to nothing.

Fun "vampire survivors" type game without the roguelike element. Good game to just chill and shoot some bugs. You can scale your ship insanely high so if you like some grinding this would be a good one.
