I like the low energy "I'm still playing a game but I don't have to put too much into it" vibe this game gives. I enjoyed it for about 9 hours and then I got to a point where there was nothing left to unlock (as you stop unlocking things to buy at level 13 and stop being able to hire more staff once you reach 55 members) and it just became the same old thing every day in the inn. Good for a short while but really needs more unlockable content if you want to keep playing till level 50 to get the achievement. I bought it on special so i'm not really upset about only really having around 9 hours of gameplay so I still would recommend if it's on sale.

1. Too many waitresses required -Especially mead. The idea is good, but can you change this so that it can be served at the counter? Maybe buff the waitress' movement speed/action speed. Even double the number of people at the table is not enough. -Even if you specify the waiter range, the AI does not move correctly. In the case of large ranges, the movement is canceled too often. If the range is small, the dish cannot be picked up properly. 2. Due to the nature of this game, the cleaners must be divided into cleaning/making beds. There are too many waitresses/cooks, so it is impossible to increase the proportion of cleaners. In the end, it is most efficient for the user to clean it manually. 3. Please enable automatic tip acquisition. Since the accommodation is not always full, the main focus is on running a bar. That's true at the beginning, but even in the mid to late stages, it's very difficult to keep picking tips. 4. Quickly move the screen (like shift + keyboard) -After the expansion in the second half, the map is too difficult to see. Please add quick movement such as shift + up or down. The gameplay is so good. It's been a while since a simple yet enjoyable tycoon masterpiece came out. I really enjoyed it, but I hope for some convenience patches. Thank you~

It has the makings of a good game. Not a great one, but not horrible either. First the pros: It doesn't crash and I haven't seen any major bugs. It's pleasant to look at and the animations are nice. The building area is 10 times the size of a certain competitor. The cons: It is currently badly in need of balancing. I should not need 10 cooks to serve 40 people. Also in regard to balancing, the working radius of the Bars/Counters/Mead Dispensers/Stages is way too small. I do not want a kitchen smack dab in the middle of my dining area! Picking up tips is a manual process and gets REAL ANNOYING after a while. There is a disturbing lack of content. For example there are only 2 types of tables, 1 long, 1 small. Overall I'll continue playing it until I run out of content, but I've played about 3.5 hours and I'm more than halfway through.

I wanted to be a little productive with this review. It's a great Tycoon Game. It's entertaining and you can kind of semi-afk the game itself which I love as I like the idea of watching a show on the side. I don't know if the developers pay attention to reviews. However I just want to suggest a few features? 1. An auto-day skip function if you don't really want to choose options every 5 minutes. 2. Waitresses pick up the tips or there could be tip-jars that accumulate wealth? 3. Hallways. The option to build hallways so you can separate things like the baths and rooms?

I actually rather liked this game. 👍 I played the demo before the game entered Early Access, but I have to say I was pleased by the demo just like I was pleased by the EA game itself. I do feel like it's a bit sparse for nearly $10, but I don't feel like that is a fair critique at this time, simply because it is EA and this is to be expected from an EA title. Generally the styling was cute, gameplay was simple to figure out, and the game felt overall VERY familiar. In fact if you were to mistake it for Tavern Master, you'd be forgiven. However, it's worth noting that these are very much not the same games, and this game does differentiate itself from it in critical ways. ie Tavern Master is more inclined to utilize a vertical building system, this offers a significantly larger map and encourages you to sprawl out a labyrinth of design. You'll also find that Inn Tycoon takes proximity VERY seriously, something I personally found rather hindering throughout my gameplay, but I feel like I "finished" the game at about 2.9 hours in, at which point I began making money faster than I could find interesting things to do with it. So in summary, if you like the tavern management games, I imagine this'll scratch that itch for you.
