Inbento is a delightful puzzle game, where you arrange ingredients in bento boxes to match specific recipes. Wait, it's way too easy! - said my wife, looking at the first levels of this puzzle game. Well, it was less than 5 minutes later, when she agreed that she was wrong on that matter. Inbento is a fair, challenging, family-friendly casual game, to pass some minutes in-between your daily routines, adding some light spice taste to it. You know, that feeling of overcoming something that was not entirely above your head, but certainly deserved some combination of luck and consideration. Like adding a finishing to your newly baked cake. If you have a taste in logical games, that's one of those that you'll enjoy, and remember, after completing. My mark is 10/10. Yammy!

Perfect for passing the time. A pretty standard/nostalgic puzzle game, trying to match the cubes in your bento box with the picture on the right. Very cute artwork with different themes over the levels, and a fair amount of levels too.

Half of the puzzles are fun and half of them are so difficult and stressing that most of them will be solved by bumping your head into a wall or by searching the solution. Since steam can’t let you publish mixed reviews, I decided on a positive one, since this game also has wholesome cats.

inbento is an adorable game about a mother cat assembling bento boxes for her kitten's lunches. The Story The story is simple yet sweet. You play as a mother cat who learns new recipes to assemble bento boxes for her kitten’s lunch the next day. Gameplay & Visuals The premise of the game is pretty straight forward. You're given a recipe, an empty bento box and ingredients. The goal is to match the layout of the recipe. The further you level up the more complex it gets. There are over 100 levels to master and no time limit so you can relax and not feel rushed as the puzzles become more complex. It is also a game you can jump in and out of and not have to play all in one sitting. In fact it is best played in increments. inbento started off as a mobile game so at its core design that is obvious. However it does translate well to a PC game. It does support controllers but I played with a mouse. Visually the game is cute. Cute cats making cute food. I think the combination is an automatic win for most who love cat games. The art is a cartoon style with a pleasing colour palette. Overall Experience There are 14 levels (9 puzzles in each) with one bonus achievement to grab if you scroll to the end of the credits when you're done with all the levels. This game does get repetitive even though the mechanics change up every level. It is a game played in chucks to pass some time here and there.
