If I were to rate this game, I’d give it a 7/10. If you're new to the co-op puzzle genre, there are definitely better starting points, like the We Were Here series. However, if you’ve already finished those, this game is worth the $15, despite its flaws. It feels like the game was either rushed or developed by a less experienced team. The music is generic and, at times, grating, while the character controls can feel a bit clunky. Several puzzles also have big oversights, in a couple puzzles, you can literally walk to the end and complete them without doing anything. The game also leans heavily on repetitive mechanics: about 50% of the puzzles involve simply communicating the same colors, patterns, and numbers over and over again. This repetition becomes especially tedious in levels 4-6, where it feels like the developers tried to raise the difficulty by making you decipher and relay back and forth increasing numbers of times per puzzle. By the time you reach the end of this repetitive loop, the novelty has worn off, and the puzzles become more of a chore. In addition to this, the game sticks with the same symbols throughout all 8 levels, which makes it even more of a tedious chore to solve once you've already found a reliable way to describe them so even that novelty is gone. There are, however, some really bright moments amid the filler. A few puzzles stand out for being fun, original, and well thought out, such as the rock-paper-scissors puzzle in stage 7 and the hole-in-the-wall puzzle in stage 8. These puzzles redeem the game a lot and prove the developers really tried and actually have some talent, which is why I still recommend it. Ultimately, it feels like the developers had a few excellent puzzle ideas, but stretched them across 8 levels with a lot of filler. Hopefully, in future projects, they trim down the repetition and focus on quality over quantity. I would have greatly preferred 4 stages of great puzzles instead of the 8 stages of half filler half good puzzles we ended up with.

"In Sink: A Co-op Escape Adventure" delivers an engaging co-op experience that really puts communication and teamwork to the test. Each puzzle requires close coordination with your partner, adding a unique layer of challenge and fun. While it’s a fairly short adventure, the cleverly designed levels make it memorable, though I'd love to see more content or extra levels to increase replayability. If you're looking for a quick, satisfying puzzle game for two players, "In Sink" is a great choice that’ll leave you wanting more. Was really excited for this game to come out and I wasn't disappointed! Well worth the price for how long the levels are and how many levels there are. I appreciate the different themed rooms and the different mechanisms introduced throughout the game so far. I've only completed 2 levels with my partner without wanting to kill each other so far but I do recommend the game :) <3

I have played the first three levels and have had a great time so far. The levels each have a theme which makes each level aesthetically pleasing keeps you interested on what is coming up next. The puzzles are in a good middle ground of not being too hard but not super easy. While hints are provided, they are initially hidden and normally have 3+ hints that get progressively more obvious about what the answer/secret is. The bigger challenge seems to be communication with your partner about what you see and missing smaller details that blend in with the environment until you really start looking around for clues. While is does use a lot of patterns and symbols for its puzzles, it feels like a design choice to keep the visuals clear which I appreciate since I am color blind. With each level lasting around an hour, its a very relaxed experience that provides a great foundation for good memories and laughs with a cool co op partner.

Completed the first 3 rooms - so far a really nice little escape/room puzzler. My only note would be that it's very heavy on the "match the symbol" puzzles but otherwise it has a nice level of complexity. Runs really well and feels polished too - not seen a single bug
