There are some visual bugs from time to time. Luckily nothing major. The game is still as fun as it was all those years back. The campaign is very well designed and quite engaging. Really wish we got Impossible Creatures 2 one day, where you can combine up to 4 creatures and have even more control over what is modified, but I doubt that will ever happen given the gaming climate. Who knows tho, one day maybe

My childhood's favorite game. Pretty simple, but unique and very fun. I was thrilled when my mother bought me CD with Impossible Creatures. It felt so cool to combine different animals into amazing mutants. Even in 2024 this game can surprise you. Scenarios with Velika La Pette I like the most.

There is a unique charm to this game that manages to overshadow the game's glaring issues of single player and multiplayer balance, bizarre design decisions, and unrealized, questionable intent with the game's mechanical identity. I'm going to be real, this game is unbalanced in many respects. Some unit combinations are utterly broken. Single player campaign is dominated by unfair AIs with massive bases that grind every mission to a screeching hault. The electricity resource is so plentiful it's comical, whereas coal feels like there is never enough of it. Tier 1 units might as well not even exist. Anti ground towers are offensively bad while anti air towers are frighteningly effective. Yet at its core, there is absolutely nothing like this game out there, and if you can overcome the game's weaker aspects, there's genuine fun to be had. If nothing else, the game's presentation and story are cheesy as hell and entertaining in a very naff way, and that might be worth the asking price alone. The game's a mixed bag, but it's not so bad it's unplayable or unenjoyable. I'd give it a recommendation, but highly advise using a guide and playing on easier difficulties the first time around, as the campaign can be extremely grindy and hard at times.

One of the most unique RTS games ever made, def worth a play now and deserves a remaster with modern technology.

The game that got me into RTS. I have so many good memories. Just the sheer nostalgia effect is just delicios. Anyhoooo: 1. The game lacks any real graphical updates for the modern gamer. It has good graphics for a game over 20years old. 2. The campaign story can be rather deep, and at times comical, it has an air of new discovery vibes. 3. The defensive towers are rather standard and not too deep. 4. The real winner is the creature combiner for your armies. It can have you barreling over laughing at times or sometimes just straight out looking at the game in awe. If you can accept that it is a game for its time and play it, then the flaws look minuscule. You will not regret getting this game
