Heart-wrenching story. It had me bawling from 2:00 to 5:00 in the morning. As a trans woman who grew up in a rural and conservative area, I found that I could relate to many parts of the story. This is by far my favorite queer story presented in a very unique and creative way.

This game, which could have easily been mundane or boring within the visual novel genre, uses an innovative and clever mechanism: an eraser that directly and actively engages the player in the story. In this way, I erase the old pages as if peeling away deep wounds and relieving my pain, as if forgetting past memories. My eraser removes the scars etched with anguish and the wounds marred by sorrow. And finally... 고통 속에서 위안을 찾을 거야, 지우개로.

im writing this review after completing my 2nd playthrough: i found this game by pure chance and decided to give it a shot, let me just say i was so suprised by it in the most positive way. The story is not super long but goes into enough detail and gives extra info at times which fleshes out the characters and setting more, which i enjoyed a lot. The story itself pulls on your heartstrings, as a transgirl myself i can to some extend understand what kasio is going through (tho my situation is not the same as hers). Maybe this influences my judgement of the game, but even so i still believe its a very solid story otherwise for anyone. The music in this game also is very good and enhances the emotions throughout the game. The credit song especially hit me hard and was done in a (in my opinion) clever and unqiue way with meaningful lyrics, but no spoilers on that ofc. The story itself i dont want to say much about because i believe its best to go in blind and figure it out that way. But for me it stuck in my head after finishing it the first time and made me think about life and reflect, this has become my new favorite game and im proud to say that. Anyway thank you for reading and id say give this a shot, especially if youre a queer person, but be prepared for emotions (both smiles and tears).

Umpfh... I felt this one. I really did. I cried 3 times, the last of which was full on ugly-cry. I recommend If Found based purely on emotional effect. I am being a bit unfair, as the art is absolutely beautiful and the music packs some punch. While the erasure mechanic is unique and it does factor into the narative, as well as generating an interesting cathartic moment towards the end, it did make my hand hurt by the time I finished the game and got all the achievements.
