❖ Such a great touhou version of Doom. ❖ Playing as Sakuya felt refreshing and awesome. ❖ Dealing with a masses amount of enemies was challenging at first, until you start knowing what to do in each encounter. ❖ The soundtracks in 16 bits kept me busy killing youkais (pretty great). ❖ I forgot to toggle my run speed until 2 hours in (which, i felt stupid to myself). ❖ The character's sprites are very cute and shows authenticity. ❖ The boss fights are great and hard (at the end). ❖ The DLC content is a good bonus post game. My only complain is: ❖ I do wished there was more weapons to be added. TLDR: 9 out of 10 (if you play FPS such as CS2 and so happen to like touhou, buy this).

It's a nice Doom mod. It would have been nice if it was free, but I wanted the badge for this game so I bought it.

Touhou but with guns . . . If that hasn't existed before, idk This is a classic Doom Anime shooter game combined with bullet hell nature of Touhou but in 3D, idk, never tried Touhou but it's what I heard lol. It feels quite rough for sure, but since I have played newer Doom Anime games from this dev, I can proudly say that this game serves well as a stepping stone for the future titles. The gameplay is fast paced and challenging, not only you have to shoot your enemies but you also have to dodge an ocean of bullets in 3D, as if OG Touhou is not hard enough. Gunplay in general is great, but it feels a bit sluggish when changing weapons, making using the ultimate Time Stop skill quite bothersome as you have to equip it first. For the visual, is quite good, cute Touhou characters. However, the maps feel a bit dull in term of colors. After all, it's still a great game, especially if you're a Touhou fan. And for me, I just wanted to try Doom without playing Doom but with anime girls.

This game is good for what it is, but it's pretty short and easy. This is a Doom 2 mod where you go through a variety of levels themed off the Scarlet Devil Mansion and blast the hell out of everything in sight with a variety of different weapons. Because it takes place in the mansion, a lot of the levels are very heavy on hallways and most levels look very similar visual wise. Level design isn't super great because most levels involve you killing enemies, finding a key to open a door that leads to another key, and then using that key to get to the end of the level. Considering how fast paced the game is, I wasn't bothered by it that much, but they definitely could use more variety. They also tend to spam lots of enemies at you since you can kill stuff so quickly in this game even with the starting pistol. This game has an unlockable hard and lunatic difficulty that you can play, but I actually found these to be easier than the normal difficulty since despite the changes to enemies to try to make them more difficult, they also give you more powerful weapons than on the normal difficulty that just absolutely melt through all the enemies. Boss battles are a thing too in this game, but they are a complete joke once you figure out their simple patterns. Some of them I was able to defeat in under 20 seconds just by spamming my most powerful weapons and abusing the stopwatch that allows you to stop time for a couple seconds. Despite all that, I had some nice, mindless fun with the game. I enjoyed being able to see how fast I could get through each of the levels and the art for the weapons and characters were really appealing to look at during my time playing. It's far from the best fps out there, but if you're a fan of the Touhou series, I'd say it's worth trying out during a sale if you're interested.
