cool game, these masterpieces help me get acquainted with the opposite sex, I think after completing it completely I will have not one but several partners at once.

A major upgrade with only a few steps back I really liked the first hylics, unexpectedly for me. And was looking forward to playing the next one. And, my expectations were met, Hylics 2 is bigger, has more features and an actual coherent story. Going from rpgmaker to Unity has really allowed Mason Lindroth go full in with the claymation artstyle and have even more weird and quirky enemies and locations. Not only that, but the game itself is 2.5x times bigger than the original, with even some secret content to explore. I still do recommend playing the first game tho, as its still pretty good and allows to understand hylics 2 more. And, while i did enjoy the game, i won't lie about it having some really frustrating mechanincs 1. I don't understand the descision behind removing the running away from battles option. Although the fights itself are much more interesting than the first one's battles, they also take more time AND you must go full in in every fight, even if defeating it means that it wont spawn again, you still sometimes really dont want to get ditracted with another battle. But no, if you get caught - you must either fight, or die. 2. Traversing the world may feel worse in some places... With the new 3d direction of this game it allowed to have platforming elements, but the movement itself sucks and you have to learn it for a very long time just so you can traverse normally since a lot of paths don't have any rails or invisible walls, so you may end up falling from a high place just because, which means you have to go back to that place all over again Despite these issues, i still LOVED the game. Every time i heard the spaceship music or saw a new quirky enemy i just completely forgot about every bad thing i had with Hylics 2, the postives just outshine the negatives, and i can confidently say that its among the most unique games and the best rpgs of all time.

Genuinely such an amazing and creative game, it's a major step-up from the first one. The visuals are so mesmerizing, the music is fantastic, and the gameplay is just real fun overall. The platforming can get a little clunky at times, but otherwise it's mostly good. This game is 100% worth the full price. Do not sleep on it
