I absolutely adore this game! It’s a brilliant puzzle-platformer and you literally swap colors to solve puzzles, and ngl it’s SO satisfying. The whole vibe is cute. we are a boy searching for our lost mother, is touching, it’s mechanics and how insanely pretty it looks that had me hooked from the very first minute! Every puzzle feels fresh and rewarding I’m completely in love with it. If you’re into puzzle games, IT IS A MUST-PLAY

It was a fun short puzzle game. It went by faster than I thought. Right when the puzzles started to require a bit more thought the game ended lol. The story isn't a lot, but I found it to be very thoughtful and soul-searching. I do think its worth the price when on sale. The music was enjoyable and fit the game nicely.

Hue is overall a great puzzle platformer game. The art style was interesting, the narration was great, and the music was pleasant to listen to. The collectibles are a bit tedious to do as if you miss any from the first play-through or aren't able to access them, you have to do a whole other play-through for that area just to get back to where the collectible is. My only real complaint though was how difficult it was to tell apart pink and purple but maybe this is just my way of finding out I'm colorblind.

Genuinely one of my favorite puzzle games to date. I discovered it years ago and have replayed it countless times, I never get bored of it. Also, it has an amazingly calm soundtrack. Like colors? Or thoughtfully written scripts? The voice actors did beautifully with this game. I use this as a comfort zone or as a stress reliever. 10/10 one of my top 3

Great concept, great execution. All of the puzzle mechanics are intuitive and interesting, and the puzzles themselves are great fun to figure out. The visuals and music are also excellent, and while I didn't personally care much for the story, it was thought-provoking at times. The only real problem for me is the collectables: many of them were really fun and satisfying to figure out on the first go around, but it's extremely tedious to redo entire sections, puzzles you've already done, and long stretches of nothing but walking, just to go back for the ones you missed. My advice for anyone looking to 100% this game: look up the Steam guide titled "Hue - map of all the Zones *with Secret Beaker Rooms Highlighted*". It won't spoil any of the puzzle solutions, nor reveal the beakers' hidden locations, it will only show you which rooms have secrets so you can hunt for them yourself without backtracking.
