I started this game with low expectations based on the reviews I've read...People, have you really played the game ? This game is one of the few horror games that made me stand on my toes from start to finish. It is so intense. The atmosphere is overwhelming, you think there is someone next to you every step of the way. I had some jumpscares that made me jump literally. It is slow-paced but well-done. There are few parts where you have to run but I will leave it up to you to discover what I meant by that. There are some...let's say puzzles which you have to figure out to continue the story. The story is interesting and from what I've read is the first part of a horror series which is awesome. I am looking forward to the next part. On another note...I can't believe this game was made by just one person. Jeff Winner, well done, sir !

There arent many games that capture the atmosphere and feel of a 1980s demon Horror film. This one really does it well. And when I heard there had been some negative reviews, I was a bit baffled. It has a solid storyline, plays well, has some really tight jumpscares that had me literally shouting in my dark bedroom. I love this game. I am also amazed that only one person made it. That is some serious labor of love and a sign of a real muse driving the creator. Yes, there are some things that could be improved, what game doesnt have stuff that could be made more to your liking? Right now I am angry at Slenderman for the update and it is one of my all time favorite games. Game makers cant get everything right all the time, and really who would want that? Having some potential for improvement in a developer makes me want to hang around and buy their work. The potential for improvement is also where the best innovations in creative work come from. Maybe I am weirdo but I am definitely buying more work from this developer. Hes got some solid classic horror ninja skills.

A Hidden Gem Unveiled! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ So, I finally dove into this game – believe it or not, it's been chillin' on my wishlist since the Early Access days. I mean, who could've guessed? I'll be real, I was bombarded with negativity from reviews, and I hesitated to buy it . But holy smokes, was I wrong, and screw those negative comments! It's not your run-of-the-mill jump-scare fest; the house is a labyrinth, essentially a giant puzzle. Sure, it's got vibes from incredible games like Amnesia, Layers of Fear, and Outlast. But the developer went the extra mile to deliver something distinctly their own. It's a horror game that doesn't follow the cookie-cutter mold, and honestly, I'm itching to see what else this dev has up their sleeve. Get this – the game was crafted by a solo genius, and it's his debut! I know these things might not get the spotlight they deserve, but they should. Major kudos to this one-person army for delivering an experience that's got me eagerly anticipating their next move. To sum it up, this game is a hidden treasure, and I'm stoked to have unearthed it from my wishlist abyss. Keep rocking, 👻🕹️

Ace game, mate! It ain't just another one of those dodgy jumpscares that everyone's over. Proper deep and well put together. I know it's been said before, but crikey, this game was cooked up by a lone Aussie legend. Gotta show some respect! I'm keen as to give Deathomen a go; I reckon it won't be the same deal, but I'm fair dinkum sure it'll be ripper.

It had been a while since this game was on my Wishlist. First and foremost, Horror Story: Hallowseed is exactly what the title suggests—a HORROR STORY. It stands out from all the horror games I've ever seen. Developed by a single individual, who undoubtedly poured a lot of effort into bringing their vision to life. Regarding the community and the Negative reviews I've read, I don't agree with any of them. Some are clearly ideological and personally target the developer due to the game's Christocentric vision. Others are simply from people who didn't grasp the vision and couldn't appreciate how special this game is. If you pay attention to the details and references scattered everywhere, and read the notes, letters, and Bible pages, you'll understand that absolutely nothing was done by chance. It's not a game of cheap jumpscares. It's not a AAA game, considering it's developed by a solo developer. I played for 2 hours and completed 90% of the game, leaving one achievement for later because I'll have to replay half of the game. Unfortunately, my time is very limited. I believe that people from the woke culture initiated the cancellation of this game and rallied their friends to boost negative reviews to gain attention. The top comment itself is clearly a blatant hoax fueled by another person who was banned by Steam for evidently harassing the developer. What's worse is that the publisher set a high price. I think the game is worth it due to the developer's effort. However, considering the gameplay time and knowing the mindset of many, I think if the publisher lowered the price to $9.99, it would be much better and attract a larger audience, ultimately selling more copies. Well, I won't assign a score because I believe it's a solid 10 in various aspects and an 8 or 9 in others. I take into account multiple factors, but above all, the tremendous effort to convey a message and present a unique vision in a gaming genre saturated by hundreds of titles that people sell, using ready-made engines like those crude collections from Emika Games. Interestingly, these collections have a fan base, but Horror Story: Hallowseed stands out for its dedication to delivering a meaningful experience, setting itself apart from the crowd.
