It's a delightful and visually stunning puzzle-platformer that feels like stepping into a hand-painted storybook. Its serene atmosphere, charming art style, and soothing soundtrack create a relaxing experience. The gameplay is simple and accessible, with light puzzles and exploration that emphasize the beauty of the world. While short, Hoa is a heartwarming journey that’s perfect for fans of peaceful and visually captivating games.

Hoa is truly a spectacular experience. Through breath taking landscapes, adorable creatures, and dynamic sound design you find yourself traveling as a fairy through a magical forest which you forced to abandon due to machines. I really think this game brings something to the gaming community which lacks in a lot of modern day releases, passion. The hand drawn level design, cinematics, characters, background...literally everything is hand drawn and it truly grasped me. I'd be lying if I said Hoa had some kind of innovative game play but I don't thinks that's needed to be drawn into a story and an experience. The soundtrack is phenomenal with a somber yet omnipresent sound. Many of the reviewers I've read genuinely lack imagination, joy, and the ability to be touched by wholesome cuteness. I don't think this game is intending to break any barriers in terms of mechanics but I feel that Hoa is a story, a picture, a journey which is to be felt and admired. I purchased this game on sale and I think it's well worth it. Roughly 2 hours of game play for the same price as a movie ticket. 10/10.

Adorable characters, gorgeous visuals, and a decent plot. The story is a learn-as-you-go type of thing. If you're looking for a game that is aesthetically pleasing to the eyes and ears with little or no brain power required, this is the game. For the price, I find that you're paying mainly for the beautifully intricate visuals and soothing music, and the game aspect is an added bonus that bumps it up to its price, which I'm completely fine with since my main preference lies with game aesthetics. That being said, it's fair to say that it's not outrageously priced if you take that all into account. The only con I would mention but will acknowledge that's totally not the game's fault is that it's sort of glitchy and may crash towards the end, but I noticed that it's actually dependent on your PC specs or that the quality setting is on high but your device isn't sufficient to support the game since it gets a bit more fast-paced towards the end. All in all, I can see myself revisiting this game every so often because it's just too beautiful to leave it stashed away in my library. I look forward to seeing what new games the studios have in store for the future. I would like to add that I love that the name Hoa is extra meaningful to the character and game as it's also the Vietnamese translation for 'flower'.
