It is a very nice simulation with very good graphics. The only thing for me is, that I had some trouble getting familiar with the trains, since there is no totourial scenario. Just a tab with directions, oh how to drive the train. But after figuring it out, I must say, that it is a very nice game.

I absolutely love this game, the graphics and the lighting is actually one of the best lighting I have ever seen for ANY game I've played, including the smooth frames and more. What I really do like about this game is the realism put into the trains and the amount of detail put into stations as well, how the control moves and how the screen to your right always does have required information, the amount of access to all the trains really does allow you to customize your train (by controls). The simplicity of the game by just a ton of stations, few trains and some REALISTIC driving is impressive. Pros: - Fantastic Graphics - Long Line (has numerous stations) - Detailed Stations/Trains - Functionality of the trains (Able to use a lot of controls and switches) - Different NPC Trains (Includes KTX and other Korail trains going by while you drive) Cons: - No Free Roam (Only Driving) - 4 Camera Options (Cab, Invisible Cab, Outside, Still Camera Outside) This game is fantastic, clearly more pros than cons but however, I know as I am writing this review, the game IS still on its works, but as of right now, this is probably one of the best, most realistic Metro games on Steam. Download it.

If you've played Japanese train sims, you know how simple the controls are. They are designed for people to just pick up the controller and play. This game is a lot less straightforward. In that sense, this game is more like MSFS 2020. It can be as casual as you want it to be, and as complicated as you want it to be. There is a tutorial but it is more of an in game manual on how to manually operate the train. If you want simple play, follow these steps: 1) Re-map the acceleration, gear, and brake selectors. DSD is dead man switch. Leave this OFF, which is there by default. 2) By default when you first start, the train is in neutral. Switch it to drive. You can leave it like this unless you overshoot a platform and need to reverse. 3) When approaching a station, there will be a platform display indicating how close you are to 0. You're given a .5m leeway. If you overshoot, brake first. Then select reverse. 4) If ATC is automatically activated, reset the controls. Turn the acceleration lever to 0 and turn the brake all the way to emergency brake. Then the ATC ebrake will disengage and you can go again. Play a newer train (from top to bottom is oldest to newest) and it will be easier. Newer trains announce when you're approaching track speed limits and when you're approaching a station. Because this is early access, this is obviously a bit rough around the edges. But overall this is very well made. The playable route is for the Seoul Metro Line 1 and are mostly commuter routes. There are sections where it goes through the underground in Seoul. Not disappointed. Enjoyed Hmmsim on Android and this is quite something!

Very good with potential. It's smooth, looks good, and driving mechanics is done very good. I don't know how realistic it is, but it's just enjoyable and intuitive. If you expand the map, promote this game more in english, I believe many of the train sim community will notice and buy. A few head-ups: At first I thought I need to start the train and there's no other way. I almost gave up before I noticed that you can skip it. I like cold starts, but the "manual" and the movement in the cab is not that good, especially access to the front swith box is not intuitive at all, atlest with mouse, the movement is very strange. Minor gripe: It seems like the camera shake more the longer you drive. I hope this is not dead and wish you you find time and/or motivation to continue.

Hmmsim Metro takes you on a realistic and immersive journey driving Seoul's iconic Line 1 subway. With stunning visuals, detailed train operations, and a challenging learning curve, it offers a compelling experience even in early access. While it's in early access, it appears to be functionally complete with an additional beta version available that shows great potential. Explore 32 kilometers of track: Travel from Kwangwoon University across the river to Geumcheon-gu Office, operating 7 different electric multiple unit (EMU) trains, including the popular 311000 series and the 1000 VF (and their variants). The 311000 is a 10-car train with a capacity of 2,300 passengers, while the 1000 VF is an 8-car train with a capacity of 2,000 passengers. Immerse yourself in the sights and sounds: Step into meticulously detailed cabins, hear the power units and braking, station announcements, warnings, and ambient sounds. Both above and below ground, the environments capture the essence of Seoul's cityscape, bringing the subway experience to life. You'll encounter other city and long distance trains and while there are no passengers, the car traffic keeps the environment alive. Master the challenge: This simulation demands precision - master acceleration, braking, safety systems, platform stops and door operation, and navigate complex signals. While prior train sim experience helps (ideally JR and U/S-bahn), be prepared to dedicate some time to learning the ropes, as the current basic tutorial uses screenshots only. Heads up: you might need your phone camera to translate key instructions to English until an easily accessible PDF guide becomes available. Early access potential: Hmmsim Metro delivers a promising experience for train sim enthusiasts. Its immersive environment, detailed mechanics, and diverse fleet make it worth checking out, especially if you're up for a challenge. Just be prepared to invest some effort in learning the intricacies of operating these powerful machines. Note on controls: Controls are mouse and keyboard-based but a Densha Go-like controllers for PC or Nintendo Switch are reported to work. I'm using a custom Arduino-based xbox controller adapter that converts the inputs into key presses. Rating: 9/10 (extra point for having more content than Train Sim World Bakerloo line and a lower price)
