If you like homestuck and big reading sessions, you're ruined, this is the right game for you. A developed social/simgame to make you feel the internal pain of social shame. I feel like some of these routes were rushed, Honestly, in some parts I was unaware of the quality of Hussie's writing, it disappointed me a little. Besides this, it's funny and not the "generic datin sim" kind. It's really interesting to learn more about characters you like while interacting with them, in fact, theres one thing that disappointed me was Marvus' route, I feel like this specific character was made just for weird simps. The premise is simple, the ost is interesting and the characters are ok, maybe some characters had more potential to be used since they came from a Hussie work. I recommend it if you like homosexual aliens and have a poor sense of humor.

this game ruined me i hate this game but i love it at the same time. i love these characters, esp my loves Skylla, Bronya, Ardata, and Remele. And DAYUm Marvus and Gorgor be mmmmm. But yeah this game gave me an existential crisis of my own and i'm still recovering love it tho

this review is not Gonna be well structured as i'm still emotional from finishinG this Game and the impact it had on me. that should already be a clear indicator into how i feel about it but i'll Go into further detail for my own sake because i need to talk about it. i've been in homestuck for a while now and as with practically anyone else whose read the comic it's rotted deep into my brain and i feel like it's become a core part of who i am. i didn't think it was possible for me to Get any more invested in this world and yet here comes hiveswap friendsim and somehow increases my love for this universe tenfold. it's crazy how much this Game chanGes your perspective on alternia and the social dynamics within it, trust me hiveswap act 2 does not do alternia or any of the character within it justice. you HAVE to play friendsim to truly Get to know them. it inspires a deep raGe within me that some people dared to skip over this Game in order to play pesterquest. it anGers me so viscerally that some people only played the first few volumes and didn't Give this Game a proper chance. as previously stated i'm DEEP into homestuck it's at the forefront of my mind pretty much constantly and yet somehow this Game Got me so invested in these trolls' lives and the mspa reader's story that pesterquest feels like a hurdle i have to Get throuGh in order to play friendsim 2 instead of a cool thinG i Get to read. over the course of my playthrouGh of this Game i Got so invested in alternia that when i Got a cut in real life i was surprised that the blood wasn't fuchsia. i called a bird a featherbeast as if that's what it was known as irl. i would think of time in terms of sweeps instead of years. playinG throuGh the last volume felt like losinG a loved one. i cried when i reached the endinG because i didn't want to leave this world and these trolls that i've come to love and care for so much as if they were actually my friends. you are actively doinG yourself a disservice if you're into homestuck and haven't played this Game. and i would say it's downriGht sinful to skip this Game in order to play pesterquest. you will Gain a much MUCH deeper appreciation of alternia and homestuck as a whole if you play this Game it is absolutely ESSENTIAL to the homestuck experience. 10/10. tyzias was there. i can't wait to Get to friendsim 2.

Got this game heavily discounted, at what I honestly felt was a more fair price. However, this is some of the most fun content to come out of Homestuck, I highly recommend if you (like me), loved the comic but wanted to know more about Alternia. The characters are charming and the routes are pretty short, but I'd say give it a shot!

This game is genuinely one of the best visual novels I've ever played. It has made me absolutely cackle for hours on end. I enjoyed this game a hell of a lot. Fair warning though, you should probably play the actual game chapters before playing this.
